Here's the absolute best tip you will ever get to win more games.
Stop fighting so damn much...
Farm, rotate, take objectives.
This isn't team death match.
It's League of Legends.
Stop fighting the entire game for no reason. Enjoy the wins.

What is a team? LOL
While people may flame Trick2G, his playstyle is probably the best way to carry out of low elo. I don't mean the games where he steamrolls 10/1, but those where he feeds and still somehow macros his way to victory with scores like 1/7 by taking objectives and still drawing pressure.
For actual challenger level plays, I would mainlywatch top laner streams because those are the ones that give the most insight into the splitpush playstyle. Especially the Tryndamere streams, because there's not much to discuss about his mechanics, so it's full-on pure macro play discussion. Jaysea gives very detailed breakdowns of all his actions in-game, although I don't think he actually has a stream yet.
I catch myself doing this a lot when I'm having bad games. I will die and say to myself "dude, why are you even trying to fight that..."
This is why I'm not diamond XD
The game is about objectives.
Killing makes objectives easier to take, but don't go full sociopath and forget why you fight.
Never pick a fight unless it helps you get an objective.
I wish the supports I've been getting lately would follow this. So many plat supports literally just trade out of boredom, but if you tank your health in trades against a sustain lane when we could have just all inned in a few levels, youre fking trolling.
The ONLY way of WINNING is RNG because this is what riot wanted.
''stfu your fault for not being in the fight''
Please, somebody tell these kids. Your team is down 15 kills and multiple towers, but they don't take it slow, ward jg entrances/baron/dragon and farm behind the wards in safety. They run out, fight, fight, and fight in enemy jungle, for cloud drakes, and everything and just lose.
I'm in plat and people still do this shit, I really hope diamond isn't like this cause if it is idk what's the point of climbing high elo would just be a joke.
Here's an even better tip to win games. Play whichever champions are overpowered because the Riot balance team is so bad at doing their job. Here's a few to get you started:

Stay away from any champions that are underpowered unless you like to get stomped and lose. Here are a few to stay far away from. Never use these unless you want to troll your team and lose on purpose:

You can do all of the above and still lose because your team is too busy fighting when they are at a clear disadvantage.
One man's modus ponens is another man's modus tollens. Whether this tip is helpful depends on the player. I will grant that most players are too aggressive. But there are also players out there who are too afraid to trade or commit to a kill when they have a clear advantage. I think better advice would be to "be more decisive". It also might be helpful to lay out a hierarchy of priorities.
Your argument is invalid. This is Season 8.
Woah thanks dude! Now that I know that I'll climb in no time! Challenger here I come!
There is no way this would apply to players on a global level. The opposite could be true depending on their play style.
just mute all bro even in high elo trying to talk to my monkey team give me headache if they decent skill wise players they will follow pings [sg-ahri-3]
Another word of advice, confidence helps a lot. I lost a lot of my confidence in my ability to play mid this season. I ended up spamming almost 1000 games of support just because i felt that was the only role I could play. Now that the league stats thing came out I see now that I have a 48% winrate as support and just under a 70% winrate on the games that I did play midlane. Now I am back to playing mid and I've only lost about 2 games (as a midlaner) since then.
It's funny you say that actually. I was using the new "stats" thing to see how my Malzahar is. I'm rated similar to diamond on everything except Team Damage %. On this I am at 18% while the average is 23%. I keep trying to work out WHY my damage is so low, but maybe its just the fact I'm not being a brawl-monkey...
