URF and LoL

Ask Riot: URF - Nexus

I linked the "Ask Riot: URF" page here because I want to talk about what they said. I fully understand the point that they made in the article. No one can deny the massive spike in players and games played while URF is out, including these newer versions of URF. It is by far the most enjoyable game mode they have ever made, even the ARURF mode is more fun then pretty much every other mode they made because it allows you to play completely differently with all these champs and truly enjoy the game, even making the die-hards that only want to win and have all, but given up on having fun in LoL enjoy the game while still losing (speaking from experience with some of my friends that have played league even longer then I have). I also fully get the fact that after URF long time LoL players stop playing for awhile or even indefinitely. Going from playing something that allows for full enjoyment while playing and completely new play styles that we do not get to do often back to normal/ARAM games just to pass the time or grinding out some Ranked games just isn't fun at all.

All that being said I want to ask everyone a question. I am of the belief that they will get more people leaving LoL in the future because they are making choices mostly for making money and not necessarily for the enjoyment of the players. They obviously want as many people playing the game as much as possible, which is why they limited URF so much more then any other game mode and continually make alterations to the URF mode to make it somewhat less fun for the players, while still giving them somewhat what they want. From a business stand point that seems to be the correct choice, but it ignores what the players want. Every time URF some around most comments about it seem to be calling for them to just bring back normal URF instead of changing it more and more.

So I want to ask everyone: Should Riot just bring back normal URF and accept the amount of players they may lose in the hopes that their game is good enough to keep others and draw in more new players then they lost OR should Riot keep changing URF so it is so different that you can't really tell it is the same as old URF, but they do not lose many players after? Which would you prefer? Which would be better for Riot? I want to know all the point of views on this.
