"We're unable to log you in because you may be offline."

As the title says, I am getting a message saying "We're unable to log you in because you may be offline." and it is stopping me from playing at all. I do not know what caused this, the game worked just fine last night and when i got home from work today it said this. I tried looking up if this had happened before and their only fix does not seem to apply anymore since were in the new client now. Really need a fix for this because everything else on my computer recognizes i am on the internet except for League.

I just got the same problem. I decided to closed the client and then right clicked the desktop shortcut and clicked Run as Administrator and it worked. Hopefully it works for you!!

I just made a thread about this too. Glad to know im not the only one having the problem. I even played just a couple of hours ago and it was fine. Not sure what the deal is

So I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about but I'm just gonna try and see if I'm right.

ARUrf is here, so I can guarantee that the servers are getting absolutely flooded with people logging in and playing. In fact, in-game, there's a slight spell delay that's occurring because (I'm pretty sure) the servers are overloaded.

When you get that message I believe it's just the servers saying "Hey let's not let you log in because it'll turn it into Season 3 EUW"
