Reports on ARAM?

So I feel like I am like most people and just see ARAM as a fun mode and not a completely serious, must win game mode, but I do feel like players that come to ARAM to intentionally be toxic or intentionally feed should still be punished. Obviously you can still report players at the end of the game, but does it actually mean anything on ARAM? All of the times that I have played a game where players have admitted to intentionally feeding or trolling have said "Go ahead and report, it's ARAM, it doesn't matter and they won't listen." So I am wondering if it actually matters. I have never gotten a notification saying the person I reported has been punished after I played ARAM games, only normals and ranked so I do not know if it is actually doing anything.

So Does anyone know if reporting on ARAM is meaningful or if ARAM is just a mode that allows people to troll, feed and say slurs as much as they want?

Reports in other game modes mean just the same as in SR. However, you have to keep in mind the differences in gameplay; it's harder to determine someone is playing very reckless or way too safe, and intentionally feeding or not participating compared to a SR match. Chat isn't any different, verbal abuse is verbal abuse.

Yes they do still count in ARAM. I have an account specifically for ARAM (love them God mode aram champs... veig, xerath, ziggs, mf, anivia, cait, varus, etc...) and I have gotten the "player you reported has been punished" message.

I can vouch that reporting someone in ARAM does count, as I had an aram where someone was very rude and toxic. I reported them then went to play another aram. Once that ended I had the notification that someone I reported was banned.

And I know it was him who got punished, as he had been trying to add me after the game so I left his request alone until after my game and was unable to remove it after my game, however logging out then back in gave me the notification of the punishment as well as his friend request being gone.
