Why Nubrac did deserve a ban.

Hello!

So when i first saw this entire thing i was pretty shocked, why should something like Teemo support deserve a ban? NB calling some rioteer to get the guy banned doesnt seem quite right and i at the time agreed that it was absurd behavior......before i actually looked into it.

But then i realized it was the damn same story as the "singed support" all over again, a guy who picks something into the support role but actually goes off to do something else.

Now this is a problem because the game is built around the marksman having a support to help them, taking that away is basically griefing your own marksman and your team by proxy because when the enemy team is diving 3v1 botlane and snowballs hard as hell on that ADC&their tower platings.

I dont think i need to explain why 3 enemies snowballing hard is bad, or why that fellow Nubrac had a 49% winrate on Teemo overall.

Help mid get a CS lead? Enemy midlaner picks a mage with decent range and they´ll still be able to farm well enough, and your own midlaner will end up falling behind in EXP because that Teemo is sitting there soaking in it.

I even saw that at least some pro level players such as doublelift commenting and basically saying they´d report the Teemo ASAP if they had it in their own games, similarly Jensen chimed and was jokingly agreeing.

So all in all i seriously think that Teemo did deserve a ban, even if he wanted to try something new it shouldnt be something that directly causes his teammate/s to suffer for it, that is a bottom line i will not concede on :(

But with all that said, Nightblue is definitely no role model or paragon of virtue but for real? Only reacting to it now?

To be honest i kinda feel like this reeks of hypocrisy, if there werent so many people so high on defending "off meta" and blaming Riot whenever possible then there wouldnt be a single post on the hot page that was condemning streamers for this kinda shit at all. As i wrote, its been going on for years already and kicking up a fuss about it now is just ridiculous.

That is all i wanted to say.

TL;DR

Nubrac´s Teemo strategy was basically the same as the Singed support or the Nunu support and thus had to be banned for following the same pattern as they did. Even if he wanted to try something new he should not do something that ends up causing his own team grief and misery as a side effect, this is a bottom line that should never be breached.

Nightblue3 is definitely an ass too though but complaining about it now after he´s been at it for years is kinda hypocritical and makes it seem like people are just out to bash Riot and protect their precious "off meta".

Yeah its a shame that it was such a disliked streamer to do this because the fact that im seeing people defend roaming teemo support is sad.

Would he also afk at level 7 instead of trying to win?

I think you're missing the key points.

Maybe at some point this was Numrac trying something new but he has 411 games played as "roaming teemo support". The winrate over these games is around 48%...so does that mean any champion with a lower win rate than that at a certain elo you shouldn't be able to play it because it's "troll"?

Doublelift Logic Example: Furthermore...if you take a peak at Doublelift's match history you'll find he's 3W - 14L(18%) on Vladmir this season. If I'm in my series, it's game 5, and I see Doublelift is playing vlad on my team can I report him for trolling/int'ing/greifing? If I'm Nightblue3 does Doublelift deserve a two week suspension for this pick if he didn't clear it with me first?

Support is supporting some one Traditionally its the adc but thats not the only option just the most brainless one. Singed support wasnt not supporting He was supporting in addition to taking the enemies blue buff which i do all the time as a support and toplaner Singed support ban was an admitited mistake from riot. and you cant say that he didnt buy support items so he wasnt supporting if thats the case riot needs to ban every lux and brand pick in solo que yesterday
