After playing Irelia, I think I might miss old Irelia. But I understand why they are changing her.

Old Irelia (too soon?) Is so fun to play as if you get fed as her, however she's very anti-fun to play against. She can do crazy damage and build mostly tank. If she falls behind early however she's useless in teamfights. She also is pretty linear, which is probably the biggest reason they're changing her. It will be interesting to see how she plays, like if she can still hard carry.
