but i don't really see how this is a problem, his W E and R still proc Ludens. the main reason why runeglaive made ap ez so popular is because he hits a huge powerspike earlier.

Also because Runeglaive turns the entire AA damage into magic damage, in Ez's case with his Q applying his AA+onhits resulted into turning the entire spell into magic damage, effectively giving him a 4th damaging spell, since non runeglaive AP Ezreals got their damage mostly from W+E+R and Q wasn't that strong, outside applying lichbane.

Then Singed is the champ for you! Just build health, hope you don't go 0-20 in lane, and run into the entire enemy team while reading your favorite novel. And at some point, hit your laugh button once or twice, run in a random direction of your choosing and somehow inexplicably escape with <100 hp and 2 kills.

... Okay maybe it's not that dumb anymore. Ah how I miss Season 1... But still! He's a great champ to learn tanks on in my opinion. Spell wise he's very binary so you can focus entirely on the mechanical aspects of being a proper tank. Plus he's just good ol' fun!

Fun... Unlike my free champ. Leblanc I appreciate the thought Riot, 6300(?) ip is truly generous, but I would like to think I have a soul inside of me sometimes.

Idk what world you live in, but Sion is a god amongst tanks. He's super fun to play, and almost unkillable, he's the Zed of tanks. He's an undestrucible wall that will you make you kill yourself just for **THINKING **you could knock it down!

I don't see why you would have to not go 0-20 in lane. You just don't die at any point, that's singed by definition.

Plus you'd still be able to do that having gone 0-20.

I didn't say you can't do it if you go 0-20, just that you should hope not too. kek.

Also, play Singed versus Teemo, Darius, Jayce, Kayle, or Cassiopia pre-6. It's uh. It's not fun. Once you do hit 6 though, THEN you can start being Singed! (... with the exception of Darius.)

hahaha hope you don't go 0/20? you are playing singed who cares! your score doesn't matter because all you have to do is run around in top lane split pushing all game, you take so long to kill that you can lock down the entire enemy team for a minute and wow your team already took a turret while they were going to get one kill! alternatively if they don't come to kill you you have enough wave clear and tank to split push and not care... (this is a joke mostly)

Singed is not a good champion to learn to play tanks. Most tanks bring utility to the table, Singed doesn't really do that. If you want to learn how to play tanks play stuff like Amumu, Sejuani or Sion.

Hey, don't forget that root! Sure it's hard to "pool" off but when you do they're as good as dead. Unless you're dumb and fling the Leona...

Singed doesn't do what Amumu or Malphite does with their massive and instant CC, rather Singed excels in constant soft CC, multiple flings for picks or peels, and DPS to the entire enemy team throughout an entire team fight. As well as insane pushing power at all stages of the game. But yeah, the reason he's good to learn is simply that he's binary, a good beginner champ in my opinion for tanks.

Saying that Singed is a good champion to learn tanks is like saying Corki is a good champ to learn adc. You want as standard of a champion is possible to learn a role. Singed's playstyle is very different than most tanks because he likes to split push more.

I learned mid lane playing Twisted Fate and Anivia, whom were at the top of the skill floor ladder back when I started playing (... and still kind of are if I'm not mistaken?). I learned ADC by playing Draven, the ADC who plays like a burst carry. Also funny you mention Corki, he was my first ADC. Never felt like I did damage with him though so I dropped him. I learned support playing Nautilus during the AP Mage Support meta, and I learned tanks off of Singed.

I agree that playing standard champs is good (probably the best) for learning a role, but really any champ can do it just fine if you take what you learn and apply it properly. The reason I feel Singed is particularly good for learning tanking is because it allows you to get a feel for how much damage you can tank before dying without relying on a gap closer, which in my opinion is the core part of being a tank. Plus, Singed rarely gets fed early on so new players aren't going to get that false hope of being 2 items ahead of everybody, they have to rely on Singed's kit, not his gold advantage.

Im playing Malphite since s1 (aside of few months when he was garbage and top was infested by Renektons) and I will tell you he is fantastic champion that won me games that I never thought I will be able to win.

And If enemy has 4 ad it feels like you are cheating.

1 hint, always buy sorcerer shoes on him, and try different builds and masteries aside of full tank.

Two ways to build him.

First, you can go a bit of a late-game dominance sort of build. If you go that way, don't expect a solo kill but farm and poke. Your W acts as both zoning/farming tool and a method of escape combined with Q and E. Try not to engage because if you are out of your W or Q, you are pretty dead. Don't engage unless necessary or if you think you can kill. When late game, you can even engage with WQE flash combo forcing everyone in a straight line and making all enemies be on equal ground. No front line. NO backline. Everyone pushed forward. While your front-line makes sure they will die and stay in front of the wall, you are safely in the back cutting off their escapes.

Build path: item 3027 item 3165 item 3089 item 3157 and probably get a Void Staff or a Liandry. Ionian Boots of Lucidity is not always necessary and Nashor's Tooth can be added somewhere substituting Rabadon. Azir is high DPS carry through zoning. He doesn't need that much damage later if he can just do damage while he has soldiers being summoned every few seconds.

Second is mid-game dominance. you are a bit squishy but you'll manage. You stay in the backlines instead of the front and do not ever engage unless you can pull off a perfect wall ultimate. Wall is your tool to escape if assassins come for you or your tank ignores your front-lines, trapping them up front so they are forced to disengage or die from unreachable carries much like yourself. Then they will die. You won't be.

For this, just build any standard mages. Morello first.
