Take a look at season 3 and 4's victorious wards compared to Season 7's ward. Season 7 looks like a total downgrade and doesn't fit the victorious theme. The addition of the Lion just looks odd and doesn't work. Looks like a plastic bobble head.

You expect things to get better with time, right? Well, I think that Victorious Morgana was the best Victorious skin in the last 4 seasons, with Sivir, Maokai and Graves being obviously worse.
I like the lion ward, the colors are just so dull.

For me, it isn't the design that is disappointing. It is the color scheme. Both the ward skin and Grave's skin look like yellow plastic. If the skins actually had a metallic shine to them and were gold instead of yellow, I think they could be some rather good skins still.

Honestly it's just the colours. The ward needed brighter colours to stand out. It's just way to dull.

while the designs could be better, a Lion motif DOES actually fit with a Victorious theme if you think about it. Lion's are seen as Kings, regal animals, top class, etc.
