League is filled with junk. IT'S INFESTED WITH RNG!
League of Legends is not a competitive game anymore, folks. It's a casual game, believe me.
Riot implemented "Runes Reforged" to help cater toward casual gamers. The game is filled with RNG elements in the rune system that are mixed with overpowered stats/abilities. This helps reduce the skill gap so that less skilled players can equally compete against higher skilled players. Higher skilled players cannot outperform/ out strategize against lesser skilled players because of the RNG elements in-game which provides luck to players.
Not only champions are overpowered, runes are overpowered as well. Champions are able to one shot players and even towers. It's been a few patches after the initial Pre-Season 8 and we are still seeing RNG elements and over-the-top overpowered champions. I can officially say that Riot's Balance Team is inept.
Here are the issues:

I'm not playing as much League as I used to. I'm no longer purchasing any RP from League because I refuse to continue supporting Riot's decision to change a competitive game into a casual game. Yes, I'm extremely frustrated that I invested a lot of time and money into this game only to have it turn into a casual fest. I have seen a gaming franchise go through this exact transition once before with one of my (at the time) favorite gaming franchise known as Halo.
Halo 1-3 were competitive in spirit and it catered toward millions of players because of it's skill-induced mechanics. Hell, it catered toward casual players too! It was a spectator sport and e-sports made Halo's community thrive which provided entertainment for BOTH competitive and casual players.
However, Bungie decided to develop Halo: Reach. Which leaned toward the casual side of gaming. After Bungie handed over the Halo franchise to 343industries, Halo 4 was released. Halo 4 was no longer a competitive game. The game was integrated with a loadout system where players spawned any primary weapon with a 1 shot pocket pistol. Also, players were able to get power weapons spawned under their feet. (Hmm... Zoe?)
There was no competitive aspect in the game at all which led to the ultimate decision of removing Halo 4 from e-sport tournaments. Since there was no E-sports, Halo 4's popularity dropped significantly...
I'm telling you. If Riot
- Gets rid of the RNG junk
- Tone down the damage on champions and runes.
There will be PROFIT for both Riot Games and its players.
