These are just a few reasons why Season 8 has been the absolute worst season of League of Legends.

Lets be real, here. "Runes Reforged" was designed for noobs so that they can equally compete against higher skilled players. Riot wanted to hold players hands and give them massive damage so that they can make "flashy" plays. Instead of the game requiring a skill-gap, where players can outplay each other, Riot wanted to reduce the skill by giving noobs a chance to one shot players. This game has turned into a casual fest which is why League is straight garbage right now.

Have you ever noticed why less skilled players from previous seasons are suddenly good at the game now? The skill gap has diminished.

Riot changes the game for the sake of change and the inept balance team does nothing to fix the issues.

  • Overloaded Runes
  • Overpowered Runes
  • Overpowered Champions
  • New Champions that are overpowered with overloaded kits
  • RNG Elements
  • Zoe
  • Klepto
  • Plants
  • Dragons
  • Scuttle
  • Loot boxes
  • 0-10 banning system where No Bans/Duplicate banning occurs.
  • Auto-Fill
  • In-game quests
  • Bot-lane bullshit changes
  • Games are decided in less than 15 minutes, but dragged into 30+ minute losses.

The list goes on and on.

Why is it that football, chess, baseball, basketball and so forth have been around for so long and they don't need to change? They all still have players. They all still have fans. Give us more skins. Give us better graphics at a slow pace. Give us a new item or two occasionally.

We don't need total champion reworks just tweaks.

We don't need 400 new champions.

We don't need ever changing runes and masteries. In fact why not just delete the runes? Counter play can be done entirely in the shop by counter building. Give us some more diverse starting options perhaps.

We don't need constant summoner spell tweaks.

We don't need counters to counter building. How does it make any damn sense to have items that completely negate counter building. If I build Armor and you build a pen item then I just have less armor, you have pen, and you have damage. How the fuck do I ever come out on top of that race?

On the verge of quitting because of Aatrox's rework. I wouldn't call myself a main hell not even mastery 7, stuck at 6. I loved his style and old lore though. I didn't mind the kit change so much, it was the lore change that did it to me.

He had the perfect personality of a leader of the Darkin. "Even those who have nothing, can give their lives." Now it got binned and trashed for some whiney, yelling, depressed emo bitch that wants to commit suicide. Basically all he talks is complaints and wanting to die. That's not a trait for the final boss of anything. I know it is a common villain trope in anime, but seriously fuck that trope. It is one thing to watch that, it's another to play it. Sure he's being tortured when he doesn't have a host, but I'd think he be more terrifying if he just laughed it off, and had enough will power to ignore it.

I remember old Riot would not implement that kind of shit. They knew that crap like that could affect a player. Having your favourite styled champion going around and screaming about wanting to die can be unhealthy to the mind. This rework is entirely a new champion both kit and attitude wise, that a new champion could have been made. Wish it was more of Warwick rework. I guess Galio says hello.

I'll see what season 9 will bring before deciding to call it quits for good though.

Great videos. I have seen Act Man's video before but i didn't know the other ones. I agree with both and with everything you said.

Also i would be extremely pissed off if they reworked Janna, i would probably just quit the game. I'm too emotionally invested in my main champ. Janna got me to gold elo the first time and i play her since forever

league has been in a roller coaster for the past couple of years. it's one problem after another due to them constantly changing things. They need to slow it down and stop focusing on changing the game. League is popular because people like the game the way it is. The devs need to take a step back and reevaluate what to do with league. At the rate we are going it's just gonna be problem after problem over and over again.

This for me was the number 1 obvious reason and the best argument as to why the game is soooooooooooo casual right now. Garbage assassin mains are climbing to challenger while they were hardstuck D1 last year, meanwhile former LCS players are dropping to D1.

Lol the part where you Zoe as an RNG element xDDD. Bro this season is trash though. The old runes were A LOT better and abundant. Also you know what ive come to realize? Over time, League removed more and more customization and made it more and more simple. The variety that was once there is gone. But i think Riot has a lot in store for season 9. Please just get rid of the runes reforged man.

I wish Riot would actually fix things not change shit for the shits and giggles. Like last year with the duskblade changes, WHY is my question? What purpose was it to put this absurdly broken passive in the game? Oh and let's not forget the Galio change in September last year, where a single fucking Q would one-shot you. It's just so un-fun to play anymore, they keep changing shit for the worse rather than fixing things that need fixing. I apologize if this comes off as a rant, but it's more of a cry for help for Riot to open their eyes and fix problems in the current state of the game.

I don't know what makes you think Dragons are a bad example of RNG. Even plants aren't that bad.

RNG is mostly bad in sudden unexpected random outcomes. Plants and Drafons are telegraphed and can be played around.

Riot just needs to buff up base & scaling defensive stats on every champion to lower the amount of damage before 20 minutes.
