Thoughts on a new gamemode based around the TFT items and champion bonuses/synergies?
Basically this gamemode would take place on or a map just like Howling Abyss. In champion select you have to communicate in the lobby on what champions you would like to pick and what synergies would go well together.
Example
Summoner 1: Let's go blademaster and demon!
Summoner 1 picks Aatrox, S2 picks Draven, S3 picks Morgana, S4 picks Yasuo, and S5 picks Shen.
So their team has the following bonuses, blademasters (Aatrox, Draven, and Yasuo) have a 35% chance to strike one additional time per AA and the demons (Aatrox and Morgana) basic attacks have a 40% chance to burn 20 mana from their target and gain 15 mana in return. Shen, being the only Ninja gains +50 Attack Damage and Ability Power.
I think items should be what you have in TFT. On his first back (or death if we want it ARAM style) Aatrox has enough money to buy two B.F. Swords. When bought these combine together to make Deathblade which gives 15 bonus attack damage per kill or assist. In TFT it remains until the end of combat but I think it would have to be reset on death or else it would be too OP. I don't think all of the items would necessarily have to be tweaked.
I realize there is a very slim 0.004% chance Riot would actually read this and think it's a good idea and make a gamemode based around it but I honestly think it could be a lot of fun. What are your thoughts? If this was considered by Riot for a new gamemode (even rotational) what would you like to be different than what is stated above?
Also now thinking, instead of buying items you could spend money on upgrading your champion to a max of level 3 just like in TFT.
