Why is the communitys mentality ALWAYS "my team sucks" when a game loss but not ...

"The enemy was actually pretty good" like I think this is one of the things the community of LoL needs to start aiming for. This kinda positivity will actually increase your attitude and make going into future games more enjoyable for you, more for your teammates and overall the game itself.

Most losses are not because people "suck" its typically that the enemy played a play really well that got their team ahead. I think recognizing that would lead to more people learning from their own mistakes instead of pointing fingers as well as recognizing that sometimes you just face better people, thats how games work. but yeah if you wanna keep the negative mentality then thats on you. I just think if people shifted gears in thinking about the games differently they find they have overall better attitudes and increase win rates.

Its self serving bias, acknowledging that the enemy was better than you means that you have to acknowledge that you weren't as good as them. so its easier to just say my team sucks they dragged me down so that you can still put yourself on a pedestal.

well your thinking on the postive side of it. but try to see it from a lower elo player or mid elo player where you will get trolled regularly or where yo can find smurfs boosting their friends n such. at times when you are in a solo lane its difficult when all you can d is hug and wait for ganks regardless if you are ahead of behind because of how oppressive counter picks can be at the moment. watchingthings like your bot go 0-10 in 8 minutes is not going to help when its nothing but hyper scaling or early game wins with how the meta is atm. Lets say i play top i win lane but the sad truth is my only option is to pressure mid is bot is 0-10. now lets add the dynamics of a lane lets say you are in a losing/scaling lane where you are just hoping that your team can stall and again you see your bot going 0-10 in lane vs a jinx in that situation the snowball effect and how the jungler and enemy mid cna pressure mad is insane there is only so much you can do. and your not going to be like damn if i had teled at that lvl 2 when they died in the 2v2 because they didn't expect the lvl 2 ll in from jinx leona. i mean in some ways yeah its not always the team but then you cant deny sometimes its just the team doesn't know how to play with what they have on their side. keep in mind this is in a solo que environment its different if you have a 5 man where communication is what makes or breaks a possible comeback.

Wdymmm how could anyone possibley be bad? It's obviously the team's fault and Riot's balance team, never that the player just got out played

Because you don't win the game, you lose it. Its not who has the best players, its which side has the worst. They aren't the same thing.

Well it depends. The problem is a lot of teams do feed hard before 10 min, like when riot autofills me to adc….I fucking hate that position. But when I'm mid or jg, I do well, but if bot lane goes 0-8 before 10 min, it's gg, and it happens a lot.....I just played a flex, where a janna had more damage than a jihn, yet that bot lane beat mine so hard. I did ok against yas as diana, but I cant shit on him hard enough to overcome our ult feeding zyra support...….and it's a similar issue almost every loss...….if someone knows what to to, in these games I've tried grouping and in others splitting...no matter what I choose my team gets destroyed...…..if people could stop feeding pre 10 min, it would be fantastic.

They kinda say that now by saying "the skill difference between x" or "better x wins," but that still is a pretty negative way of looking at things. People should focus more on improving themselves instead of tilting their own team into playing worse or leaving the game.

No one likes to acknowledge their enemy’s skill in this game, the only good mentality u can stick to is to “flame” urself so u can get better
