Is anyone going to or has seen Star Wars yet?

I'm going tomorrow. Does anyone else have tickets or seen it yet?

Edit: saw it. I'll post brief thoughts below without spoiling it.

I didn't even see the last one, I just don't care anymore. The new episodes 1-3 were borderline cringey. But this modern series of movies is just plain trash. Star Wars is dead.

Yeah I didn't see the last one or any of the prequel / standalone things in-between. So just haven't cared as much as I once did.

They should have left it alone after the prequels were done.

I have tickets for tomorrow night, but it's been leaked, and the leaks have been confirmed to be true

seems overloaded like they tried to fix the whole trilogy in one film and then the ending is lame

like they went back and undid the last film and made some fan theories correct to pander.

still gonna watch it but i'm worried about it

I'm more of a fan today of Star Wards than I've ever been.

Watching the Mandalorian and reading Vader and Doctor Aphra has been great.

And I liked The Last Jedi so sure I'm going to see The Rise of Skywalker soon.

Me before seeing the movie: [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Me after seeing the movie: [sg-lux-2]

Not really sure how I feel about it. It was watchable if you didn't think too much about what was going on in spots. It moved very fast. For me it was definitely better than TLJ. In fact one thing I was feeling when I left the theater was I wished JJ had directed EP8. He's not a perfect director by any means and you'll feel it while watching, but I think the trilogy would have been more cohesive if he had directed it or they had picked someone who stuck to the outline.

If anyone's got questions that you don't mind evasive, non-spoilery responses on, I'll try to answer if I can.

Star wars is garbage.

Watched ep1, was boring didn't watch ep2 and ep3, I checked the hilariously bad fighting choreography on youtube and said NOPE. ep4, ep5, ep6 were alright but highly overrated will not watch ep7 ep8 ep9, I will not comment on why or I might get this message deleted by mods for obvious reasons.

Check your expectations. The movie is a dumpster fire.

How would anyone have seen it? Movies release on Friday, and at most have a Thursday night early viewing. It's currently Wednesday.
