Riot: Fixed the issue with the friends list not displaying in the correct order by disabling the friends list

Edit: Manual invites did work and voice worked for some time.
10/10 hubby and I playing Smash Ultimate tonight instead. What even caused this is what I want to know. It's so random.

Would be great to have a workaround at the very least. Currently there's no way to accept a game to even play with friends who aren't disconnected (yet).
LOL Riot's solution to the chat bug is to just DISABLE friends all together

Same here, tried restarting, deleting log/cache files, even reinstalled whole client...I'm upset.
At least i got 4 friends over to play the game, and riot gets this bug in the client... What did they do, disable chat while adding in the new missions or something?

But look at all that Mecha Kingdoms stuff in the main area! And you got a key fragment! Why not buy some chests and skins? Go on, it'll be fun - the animation for opening a chest is so fancy! This game has such good Story, Art, & Sound that this kind of bug isn't really that important.

Same thing but also with quests. Can't see the quest list so I don't know what it needs to be completed, even though most of them have a secondary option just play X number of matches, but just makes you play more than needed for no reason.
Remember that old mord had over 120 + bugs? Damn he unleashes all of them

They need to get rid of TFT from the client and make it its own separate game.

Why don't we all just send pictures of our broken clients to one person and have them send them to Riot. Wouldnt that encourage them to do something if we all did it?

December: Can't see usernames in champion select, instead replaced by some weird string of code, making it hard to figure out who is asking to swap lanes / Post game lobby everyone's name is greyed out as if they left the lobby
January: I don't know if previous issues were fixed because now chat is just straight up disabled both in champ select/post game and in private messaging / Friends list only shows one friend and I can't invite anyone to my lobby
Today: I don't know if previous issues were fixed because now the entire right side of the client disappeared and I can't even see my missions.

Same for me. Also the game presents me with weird glitches. I've had champs appear out of nowhere and kill me while being in a different location on mini-map. Also I witnessed Nunu's snowball of giant size hanging around our turret without its owner for an entire game.
Nice job Riot, client is somehow worse starting the new decade. I guess billions of dollars is not a compelling reason to do your job right. I almost think they intentionally make it this way.
Also, after 10 years of playing this game and never getting a bug splat I finally gave in and now I get one every single game.
