It was literally worse than whatever you imagine it as being. So much so that they hotfixed him almost immediately.

From ancient tales and legends I have attempted to decipher, it seems there used to be about 400-500 champions in the League of Legends... Then Xin Zhao was released.

Also buffing super old champions is their way of dealing with the power creep introduced by newer champions. There are plenty of game companies who completely abandon their old content and leave it to rot, be grateful Riot doesn't do that.

He -is- strong. Sated Xin right now is really, really good. He's just not blatantly overpowered. Right now in Plat/Diamond+, Kindred and Rengar are must-bans, or they're picked. He's not on their level.

He's still way stronger than a lot of other Junglers at the moment and is in a really good spot. Like, he's not even just okay, he's really good right now.

And, they're going to buff him.

No you cant.

Akali is a pubstomper like Xin but Akali gets out of control much MUCH more quickly and we all know how snowbally she can get and how fast she can do it. You and i may be able to deal with her but there is ALOT of people who struggle against her and any buff to her can easily push her over the edge.

Not too mention how snowbally the game is right now.

Xin is actually pretty bad at the moment. He is sitting at an abyssmal 47% winrate right now. The issue is that the other devourer/attack speed junglers does what he does but better. Why play Xin Zhao when you can Play Yi with his new bruiser build with steraks, be just about as tanky do WAY more damage, and not be forced to be an allin champion. Maybe you want high mixed damage, but better tankiness. Well...Jax does that much better now doesnt he? Xin also lacks aoe which makes his clears somewhat low compared to the other devourer junglers. There is simply NO reason to pick Xin, and that is an issue. While i hate the idea of garunteed crit strikes because of Fiora...something needed to be done.

Becuase Xin Zhao has great CC. Why are you even trying to compare Xin's damage to Yi's when Xin has 3 CC abilities to Yi's 0?

Xin has decent AOE when you spec him right. Most people max Q which is sub-optimal. Max E is far better in terms of both clearing and sticking to targets. You lose a small amount of damage to max Q but it normally evens out if you get a second E off. Max E also generally has higher winrates.

There is simply NO reason to pick Xin, and that is an issue.

There's no reason to pick Xin because he competes directly with Lee Sin. They're both strong early game bruisers with good CC and utility. The reason Xin isn't picked isn't really a problem with him, it's a problem with Lee being completely broken.

yes for early but upgraded item 3341 was better in every way for countering stealth champs especially akali. and now that you can't buy item 3362 pinks aren't an option late game

It will crit every 2nd attack because he's Sated. It will also ghost hit for another crit. You'll be chunked within 0.2 seconds.

The changes are buffing AD xin zhao not on-hit xin zhao...

the bonus heal and 60% damage will do absolutely nothing if xin isn't building AD.
