League has become too complex for average players to learn in a reasonable time.

This is not about us, this is about them. The majority.

League of Legends is 10 years old. The level of general skill players are at now will never increase. As more players join, and older players leave it will always cycle through this same terrible, terrible cycle of trolls and toxicity.

If Riot can not fix how terrible this community is at the game then the game needs to be made more simple, less teamplay so YOU if you are a good player can carry and less complex so average players aren't stuck trying to learn and fail to learn the game.

I'm not talking about you guys who are here actively learning and climbing, I'm talking to everyone else, the MAJORITY who will never read this. This isn't even a low elo only problem, higher elos require higher level play and even the average base up there can't keep up.

Because of all of this and toxicity it has become so much harder to solo carry, teamwork is the goal but the game has made it mandatory otherwise it's a near coinflip regardless of your own skill. It has to change.

Become?

It always was, it's easier now than it's ever been, the game is so watered down NA and EU are making it out of group stage.

It was actually a lot more difficult to learn back in season 2 and 3. Because strategy actually mattered, and it wasn't a contest of who could push their buttons the fastest. Champions were also, by and large, simpler to play and master, which meant that people had to come up with more creative ways to utilize their kits efficiently rather than having an answer for every situation automatically built into their kit cough Aphelios .
