What is being done to prevent the clusterfuck at Diamond V in the next season?

I hope Riot goes through a huge sweep with the banhammer soon. A ton of those Diamond 5 players were boosted.

One tricks whose one trick has fallen out of the meta are much worse than boosted players.

Compressing half of the LoL population into Platinum at the beginning of every season has fucked this up beyond repair.

At least legitimate one trick players, even if their champs gets washed from the meta, are far more superior than bronze-silver players who pay people to get their account boosted to Diamond 5.

Remember, those bronze-silver players are playing on the Diamond account and are against higher tiered players. When you have a less experienced player in your games, it becomes a huge disadvantage.

I disagree, there are plenty of monkeys who are mechanically good (at one champion), but have no awareness of decision making skill. They play champions who can snowball off of one kill, turning their lack of awareness and bad decision making skill into triple kills. Most Riven and Darius mains are good examples.

They either go 10-0 or 0-10, there's no in between.

Uhhhh plat+ is 10% of the population and a lot of plats get knocked down to gold

Diamond V is much worse, for a variety of reasons. One being that everyone in Platinum and Diamond gets compressed to similar MMR, another being that it's hard/impossible to drop out of Diamond V, and another being that Diamond V is where everyone pays to be boosted to. The skill discrepancy is also massive, versus other V's, where everyone is fairly bad at the game and all 10 players are making game throwing mistakes 24/7.

You won't understand it unless you experience it. I can carry out of V at every other division, but nobody can carry out of Diamond V without duo queuing or spamming a large number of games.
