@Riot Where's Karthus in the MYMU?

I mean, he's not one of the big 6 (Understandable), but he wasn't even in the list of other champs getting changes as well. (Which concerns me) Is Karthus currently that ONE guy who's Just so perfect that he doesn't need a single change on him? I mean there's gotta be SOMETHING that could stand to be changed right? CD reduction on his ult? changes to his W? AP Ratios? I Dunno just gimme SOMETHING.

I just gotta know, why is karthus being completely left out here?

His ult does not need a CD reduction ever.

There's nothing thematically wrong with Karthus that requires a major update. It's just other champions overshadow what he does and sometimes do it far better.

Karthus will actually be benefitting massively from this mage update, because his core items he needed anyway will allow him to survive far longer into a teamfight than his current form can. I'd keep my eyes out on what he'll be able to do, but as it stands he's in no need of a good update. If anything, he'll probably get a q visual update to fix his problem with it randomly sihlouetting when you cast it out of range (I still wonder why they hadn't touched on that yet...)

He is probably being looked at for changes that far exceed the big six champs that were updated for the patch. Either that or RIOT is just not sure how they want to take him, as all of his abilities are either iconic or integral to his identity/synergy.

They are probably waiting to see how the itemization changes effect him.

Also just because he wasn't part of the Big 6 or any of the smaller ones that doesn't preclude him from having any number tunings or anything. It is just that all his skills will be exactly the same as before.
