Is Kindred a better ADC than a jungler?

Profirix··2 votes·3,333 views

I've been noticing a trend in the games I play: Kindred in the jungle ends up doing a sub-par job - often getting caught when trying to get stacks on enemy camps. When Kindred goes ADC, she often ends up winning lane and pushing for the win. Is this just the basic new champion tryout period, or is this something we are going to see more frequently? I was under the impression she was supposed to be mainly a jungler...why does she do better outside of the jungle than in it?

She is a better adc than I thought she would be. You do need to have a decent support to survive early game with her low range though. Last game I racked up 21 kills going a standard ADC build.

i think its easy to look like a good adc if the enemy bot lane is jsut bad. and most skilled players avoid bot lane. this is because adc often simply cant perform well because their teamates dont cooperate. If u want toi carry low elo game, dont go bot. neither player down there can ensure much. But since its a new champ and all, some decent players might actually brave the dumb bot lane.

Well she has low health and low ad right away which makes clearing the first camps hard but once you get going to snowball fast and hard. I think mid or adc would be better for her than jg maybe top but I haven't tried that.

if find that she has a strong all in with her e slow. this peaks at at about lvl 3 wher she can put 2 points into it. it's good against poke adcs becuase they don't want an extended trade but i don't know how it'd go against other all in adcs like lucian, or graves.

Top is currently the best lane for Kindred. One because it's mostly a melee lane, and Kindred has really good kite with the Q combo when used with W to lower the CD of said Q. (Wrecked a gold 4 Yasuo earlier, and I'm not even rank lol).

Also, adc is not bad, it's actually good, I was watching a master ranked level match, challengers or whatever, and Kindred came out with over 20+ kills! Just absolute destroying everyone and everything literally, and even Hide On Bush was on his team lol. That's just sickening, already wrecking people like they were bronze.

Top lane is still the best tho cause Kindred's sustain is just too much if you ask me, it's like a ranged Aastrox going against you. You may get some trades in, but Kindred will be back to 100% HP while your Hp hasn't restored. So yeah because of the sustain which is great, top lane is by far the best option on Kindred. Since you'll have a easy time with the Melee's up top, this means you should get some stacks, so no need to really jungle, and besides you'll get more once the lane phase is over.

She is living off people who don't know how she works. Eventually people will start figuring it out.

i think nnot manny people know the job of an adc in the jungle, i main jg and played loads of twitch jg when he was totaly off meta ive played 3 games as kindred and didnt really put much effort inn it but i do feel like twitch might actualy be the better junger if you know how to clear

kinddred how ever has one verry clear job in the team to me wich is get those 6 stacks they should make up for the gold ur missing compared to the real adc

avoid ganks unles absolutely neccesary or clearly an easy kill farm up and ward cause invades wil most likely kill you

and focus on getting devourer (atk speed goes good with his kit) and blade of the ruined king ( goes good with atack speed)

now you got to realize that you are the adc you got devourer botrk and 6 stacks or more so you got pretty decent dmg but you need to play like an actual adc and stick to the backline of your team

use ur ult if you get doven by some stinky assassin or have to help out team mates

so u should start jungling for these stacks and afther this ur exactly like the adc in teamfights ;p

It's still the first day of her release, we haven't seen her enough to have a definitive answer.

Champion tryout period.

For the look of things, she's good in both roles, imo. Her ganks are solid and she's not completely bullied in laning phase, either. I'll try her at top and mid if I grab her fast enough, but I think this champ is leaning onto balanced to slightly OP.

I dunno. I like her as a jungler since her kit is more an AS typa one and she doesn't really do much with crit in comparison to other ADC's on top of her lower range. She's got the nice ulti, but I definitely find her a much better jungler. You can do really well by just getting the usual Devourer and BotRK. Personally, I got for a tanky item after that since you usually have 3-4 stacks of your passive and you're doing around 12ish% of their current health on each hit on top of the AD, your E, your W, your Q, and of course the Devourer's stacks. You do a ton without damage items. On the PBE, I did more offensive and it went decently, but that was lower skilled. Tried her in ranked and found that I needed a bit of beef after the BotRK.

I should note I play aggressively and I was ganking while using my passive to make people play passively. Made sure to ward the enemy jungle and took the camps I needed and GTFO'd against a Lee Sin in Plat 5. She's got quick clears if you go with the purple smite and it definitely makes it safer to jungle when you use the purple. I made my presence known pretty early and ganked often, only taking buffs, scuttle, wraiths, and Wolf marked camps and kept up in damage despite being slightly behind in experience since I wasn't farming as hard.
