Accounts which only own Sona, Ziggs, Kog'Maw, Xerath, etc. should be banned from playing ARAM.

These are the people taking a just-for-fun game mode and completely ruining it by gaming the system for the most powerful champions. If Riot really wants to make ARAM more fun, something needs to be done about them.

They just need to make it so that all champions are available. It doesnt even make sense word-wise since its not all random. Its random from a pool of the champions you own, hence not "all".

All players mid, all players selecting the "random" champion option. "All Random" was never an indication of what champions were available for random to pull from.

Please tell me you're trolling and aren't actually trying to argue the semantics of what random could mean.

He's right though, as well as entirely justified in arguing the semantics of "All Random," since that's specifically what the guy he's responding to brought up.

It's not what it could mean, it's what it does mean and has meant from the start. People are trying to argue that "All Random" should take on additional meaning by ignoring it's current meaning.

Having that much control over the outcome defeats the purpose of being random

It needs to be just random from pool of all champions.

Every account that I play ARAM seriously on, always ends up against the ARAM only accounts after a certain amount of game. I don't enjoy constantly playing against/with the same overpowered champions over and over so I have to eventually make a new account.

Certainly a few champions are underpowered in ARAM, and there are even more overpowered ones, but it should be truly random. ARAM accounts at 'high level' ARAM makes it not random and unfun.

People who own LeeSin Ahri Syndra Graves Lucian etc and play summoner's rift should be banned from playing blind, ranked, draft because they're taking the most powerful champions and abusing them.

The difference is, ARAM is based around playing with whatever champion you're given, and rigging your roster so that you only get the most powerful champions is unfair to everyone else who owns more champions. It punishes regular players for purchasing content, which no other game mode does.

And it's much easier to determine who is overpowered on ARAM then it is to say who is 'overpowered' on SR.

ARAM it's obvious -

      • one long lane with barely any means of sneaking up on people - all the longest range/global ult champions are given an automatic advantage
      • no recalling, so the people with high sustain/supports/healers are mostly overpowered
      • melees are forced to play mostly full tank, so any melee that doesnt have cc or good tanking abilities is much weaker. Snowball helps but exposes the 'less favorable' melees too much

if only "free week" champions were available in ARAM that would fix the issue... oh wait.. they ARE

You're still significantly more likely to get a broken champion than someone without a dedicated ARAM account.
