I find it jarring how Locket of the Iron Solari's active can be pinged when it has nearly the same active ability but Face of the Mountain cannot. Also, I think it is worth noting that even some items without active abilities can be pinged such as Cull. As a support main who uses Face of the Mountain every game, I would really appreciate being able to tell my teammates when it is up.

Perhaps it is. I almost put this in the Report a Bug section but I wasn't entirely sure that it is a bug as opposed to just an oversight. Regardless it doesn't work in game right now.

DarkRitual1 votesI think they need to make the ping for that special. Have it indicate both if active or not, and also how many Spoils of War charges are currently up. It's a definately positive change that should be made. It also helps for the unupgraded versions if you can ping that you have charges.

To be honest, I don't think it is necessary for the Spoils of War passive to have a ping since there is already a pretty good visual cue in the blue circles that float around you to show how many charges you currently have. It would be nice I suppose though to have a ping for the earlier relic shield items on Spoils of War, but for Face of the Mountain I would prefer to have a ping for just the active shield.
