I'm glad Skarner is getting some attention, but....
**What happens when he gets TOO much attention? **
As a Skarner main, I've been playing him since Season 2. I've loved his changes and see him as a fairly balanced champion as of now. Recently, Skarner has been getting a lot of attention due to the new season and his new legendary skin coming out. This brings something I fear will happen; a call of the community.
People are going to start playing Skarner more often and eventually call for nerfs or buffs to the little bug. When they do, Riot is bound to cave into creating a virtually unplayable champion through the nerfs or create a perma-banned or over-picked champion from buffs. This is something myself, and possibly other old Skarner players, do not want to happen. I feel he is a pretty balanced champion as of now. His ability not only comes from his kit, but the player that builds and uses him. A bad Skarner will suck, and a good Skarner will dominate. This is how it should be. I don't want Riot to create a champion that feels as useless as 
due to their kit or something as overwhelming as 
due to their sheer power and no need for critical skill.
When his popularity grows, what will happen to my favorite champion? Will he become impossible to play due to his pick/ban rate? Will he get nerfed to the ground?
