The 12 Days of Karthus - Day 7: Teamcomps
D2Vincent here with another episode of the 12 Days of Karthus! Today We're gonna be looking at Karthus's place a teamcomp, as well as ways to defeat enemy teamcomps.
##Your Teamcomp: other AP users,
##Synergistic Champs: Amumu, Ryze, Corki
Basically, since your W shreds MR, it helps apply more damage for other champs for more of the Teamfighting strategy. Amumu's new passive will also let your abilities have TRUE DAMAGE tacked onto it, which is nice. Ryze can ult you WHILE IN PASSIVE, which you can use to reposition yourself if need be (Kalista can do something similar with her ult as well).
##Enemy Teamcomp: Squishy teams
Simply put, an enemy team full of squishies stand no chance against you unless maybe if they have a sort of spellshield or something. This is when you want to go full AP mode.
##Enemy Teamcomp: Tanks
In order to defeat your enemy, you must BECOME your enemy! In other words, this may be when you want to go for the TANK build. Especially since your E will start Draining their health pretty quick!
##Ally Teamcomp: AD
If the rest of your team is building AD, this helps you despite W not being quite as useful, as the enemy team will most likely build Armor to counter all the AD your team has. This means you're going to be able to damage them more with items like Void Staff or Liandry's
##Ally Teamcomp: CC-Heavy
Gotta love when allies give CC for Karthus, since it helps land Double Damage Q's. And the more CC your team has, the better off you're able to just Q away while not dying as much lol.
Another short one today, but tomorrow we'll be staying in Gameplay as we talk about Counters and Anti-Counters!
