how is titanic hydra holding up?
so from a pure stat point of view the pre nerf titanic hydra was equal to ravenous hydra.
the difference is however that its a tankier item which reduces risks. Technically fighters should be the strongest champions in the game since they have the best of both worlds medium risk with solid damage output. And you see this often with jax irelia, riven, udyr, dominating games.
the next level of strength is a tankier form of fighter, i'll term that a bruiser.
they have even less risk since they are tankier but have less damage output.
technically assuming neither champion counter themselves its a draw.
The difference is the human element. humans unlike say a flawless AI need to have a higher skill set to make riskier builds worth while.
in a fair 1v1 fighter > adc fighter > bruiser bruiser > offtank > tank ADC + support = 2x fighter if they are on the same page (proper peel for adc)
in a team fight with risks misplays adc has least forgiving consequence for mistakes, fighters next, bruisers more forgiving.
say its a 10% difference at high elo where risk management skill are at their peak.
10% of 3500 gold is 350 gold. i could be wrong maybe its 20% would be nice to gather data on this. the 20 ad nerf is 700 gold worth of stats. that's 20% I get having to pay a premium but is it a bit too much?
or does titanic scale really scale that much better than ravenous hydra does? Numbers don't seem to say so.
