Let's Collect Ideas On How to Rework Teemo's Blind.
Right now Teemo's blind feels like a kind of a broken tool. Not broken in the sense that it is gamebreaking but in the sense that it just doesn't really work as good as other disruption tools like for example CC does.
Against ADC's and autohit-oriented champions in general I found myself always being able to duel them without them being able to offer a lot of counterplay because I could literally disrupt about 70-100% of their damage for 2.5 seconds at max rank which is a really long time, by the time it had worn off they were most likely already dead. On the other hand it does not help at all when getting bursted by an ability-oriented mage or jumped by a non-autohit assassin, as I found out while having the pleasure to lane against a lot of bursty toplaners like Akali and Zed.
I just felt like posting about this issue to discuss whether it is one or not and if it is one, how it could be reworked.
My first idea is that we give it the Quinn treatment - instead of taking the enemy's ability to do autohit damage for 1.5-2.5 seconds depending on rank, it would reduce the target's vision by 900 units for the same amount of time while still blinding monsters.
The second and as I think more interesting one is that not only autohits, but all other abilities will miss aswell. Abilities that have been fired or have hit you before, like mid-air skillshots or DOTs will still apply damage and/or CC. 1.5-2.5 seconds is till kinda rough though so maybe it could be toned down to a flat 1.5 or 1 seconds at all ranks instead because it might be too OP otherwise. The problem I see here though is that it might be a bit toxic and/or hard to balance since it would kind of work like a reverse Fizz-E or Fiora-W, which have already proven to be hard to balance in the past and still are.
I'd love to see your take on this, and who knows, maybe a Rioter will see this aswell and share his own thoughts.
