Spellbinder is going to be like DFG rush all over again
Step 1: buy Spellbinder
Step 2: one shot any enemy champ in a single combo
That thing needs to scale with level. It gives a flat 100 AP then another flat 100 from the active. That's even 40 more AP than flat out rushing a Dcap and 1000g less. Buying it first item then immediately having access to doubling your AP is not healthy. Even tanks are going to get one shot by it. It's actually going to be worse than DFG rush tbh. DFG was removed for a reason.

for spamming their manaless trash all over the lane
builds this item and then you get hit by a 10 minute 200 ap requiem. good luck surviving
was changed to arm itself at exactly the 10 minute mark so actually I kind of rescind my comment
, people are definitely not surviving that ult
Archangel's and the new addition of Spellbinder,
are all going to make stacking the item quick. If they are your enemy or you. Also think about the intended target audience of the item. Remember back a while back there was an item called Talisman of Ascension
.
, but it's not listed
realy feast or famine and realy just worth as 7th item.
. If you ask me, I'd probably get Spellbinder any time after my 2nd or 3rd item, unless the champion I'm playing can REALLY make use of that active. I can even see maybe Brand Support getting this item since Everyone uses abilities down there quite often, so there's food for thought.
Also while I agree with you on DFG being unhealthy (I still miss this item regardless), I don't think anything will top that item.
