What am I supposed to build on Fids now? Cinderhulk? o.o
Being serious, though... The idea behind the change was great, but the execution doesn't seem to be doing what was intended. I see more AP mids building it than actual AP junglers.

, making the jungle item pointless. They'd just upgrade to get the increased gold then farm/gank til Zhonyas.

Look, Fiddle doesn't actually have that stellar of AP ratios. Everything is around ~.45 AP - it only stacks up because its per second/bounce, but even then that's assuming that you get off your entire ult, entire drain, all the bounces to get those high-AP scaling damage. His passive gives him naturally higher base damage (since it reduces MR around him, giving him pseudo MPen) and combined with, say, Abyssal, stacks up pretty hard. And I've had success with Rylais, not for the slow as much (although it still helps to keep people inside your ult AoE slightly longer, or slow when kiting with his bouncing E, etc) but Rylais gives him both HP and AP.
Since Cinderhulk gives him more AoE damage, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
Or, yeah, just skip the jungle item because he really doesn't need it. Start with a book and he just drains his way through the jungle.
