He has no waveclear, way too squishy, mana costs too high, cooldowns too long, and his skillshots are REALLY easy to dodge (if you let him channel his ult for a full second and still can't dodge it you are bad).
And his damage sucks.

His passive ramps up his waveclear and his ulti Cd is not that bad so its often used to push back lanes that are getting at towers. His Q is really easy only when its at long range or you got a minion wave to use, Its also brutal when his aim is on point for poke because it adds a solid hunk of flat damage. E and R do magic which gives him a slight edge when teams stack Armor. When Q lands it gives him CD allowing him to chain Q and other abilitys, also if you weave Q in-between auto attacks its almost like other champions using an auto attack refresh. His R is global so you cant exactly keep an eye on him to see if he is casting at all points in the game, it also has pretty decent damage, and it ramps his passive for teamfights.
Tldr, right build, right mechanics and he is safe option in many matchups who also dishes out TONS OF DAMAGE, fail this then he is a sub par adc with short autos.

At the cost of 110 mana (more than his ult) every time he blinks. And btw you can actually still target Ezreal with attacks while he blinks. It's not like he becomes untargetable or some stupid sh*t like that.
Kai Guy1 votesYou seem to have been given the wrong numbers as his blink at every level cost 90 mp. Also unless your crap at MP management, what does this have to do with my point about him being a safe pick in most situations unless the player behind him is using him wrong?
Build him like every other adc? That is a mistake, play some one who uses those builds better. Cant land his q to save your life? play some one who only has to right click to put up damage.
Besides 
what adc untargetable in their kit? Seriously of the rest, not one can dodge an auto already in motion. Compared to EZ 
are all 50 units less movement, Only EZ has a blink in his kit, every other adc has a dash. 475 units is more then enough range to dodge a skill shot, get out of auto range assuming your not goofing and fighting point blank vs ranged champs... move over a wall. Lethal auto attack in air vs any adcs mobility skill (only counting their mobility skills not rest of their kit) is still gonna be lethal damage.
I gotta say that I really do not understand what point you wanted to make in your response man. Please clarify.
