Her W +Q a la Ryze E is still probably the best poke, but you have to risk it by Wing the waves and the enemy champ

It cant go over minions and it's a line skillshot. It's not balanced around you getting hit by it all game. Try not getting hit by it

Same thing happens when you get charmed by ahri. You die.

Without minions or stuff blocking the way, yes, with that horribly portrayed hitbox, and buffed projectile speed it's easy. In lane, and in practice, it's more difficult than you think.

A lot of abilities are treated as too easy to land when they aren't. Urgot's E, Darius's Q, and so on.

A lot of complaints about how easy they are to land stems from lower elo, where less people are trying to play around the abilities and just saying OPOP.

But now you have no escape. Your W's range isn't particularly massive, and, because you cleared his waves, he has a ton of minions to jump on to. Since you had to wait for the minions to get bunched up and fighting to hit them all with your W, your minions are also in a giant mass. Without your W to escape, he just Es onto you, outtrades and outdmges you, and Es back out. He can outrun the tether too; your W is on CD because you used it to clear. When you "arrive" at your target location for W, he just Qs you(Q is longer range than your W aoe). When you return and Q the wave to clear it he just dashes onto you, and all you have left is your E, which, as mentioned before, he can circumevent.

This problem is a lot less significant once you get your ult, but you have to use your R to even outtrade him(not for bursting), and your R's CD is 45s at lvl1 approx.

They chain does deal a lot of damage, but that's because it auto-procs the passive.

If anything, it would be fine if you could actually get out of the range without having to use an equivalent of two Flashes.

Nothing wrong with that hitbox. They both connected. Just they auto center to middle of the target's hitbox, that's what makes it look weird.

basically currrent lb is land chains and you get a kill with R and chains. you don't have to use any other ability if you aren't behind tbh.

People are like "this new LB is OP broken" and I feel like laughing they have a problem fighting half a champion.

Yes, she does more damage now, but at the price of being so unreliable it's stupid.

Before she could kill you without ever using the chain. Now she must land the chain and hold it there the whole duration to deal any damage.

It's just numbers not being balanced properly. They made lb have even more damage early game but fall off stupidly hard later because the increased delay makes it really hard to play later in team fights while having no significant impact on her lane phase.

Zed is effectively unchanged.

He has less AD in early, much more in mid-game and about evens with what he had in late game.
