PSA: the old malzahar was cancer

literally one of the least interactive champions in the game.

reverting his rework wont resolve any of his issues, nor make him more of a healthy champion than he is now. so stop asking for reverts, its not going to happen.

it makes more sense to keep working on him than reverting one cancerous iteration into an older cancerous iteration.

the only reason they reverted KogMaw was that despite his age, his his kit was overall decently designed with clear strength and weaknesses, and there was simply no need for his rework in the first place.

Malzahar DID need changes due to an unhealthy kit. the ones they gave him didnt help, but that doesnt make his old kit actually any good or better than the current one.

his kit isn't designed around the minions being the focus of his power

he will never be a healthy champion as long as they keep doing this unless they rebuild him from the ground up

they managed to do it in a healthy way with yorick.

maybe it would be worth thinking about not attaching the mechanic to a ranged point and click damage ability, and about doing something else with his ult.

yorick is not malzahar. yorick was designed around his ability to manage ghouls and build them up; malzahar's original kit had them as a compliment to his strong base abilities but not the focal point of his kit

malzahar was never ment to be a minion champ. that's not his theme at all.

one way or another, just reverting the rework still solves nothing.

if they move forward with the minion mancer theme or not.

thats not what i said. what i said was, it makes more sense what riot is trying to do right now and keep working and reworking his kit instead of pushing the reset button on him.

The entire game is filled with cancerous champions. Singling Malz out as some specially cancerous champion simply because david capurro decided to spread his stds onto Malz is a joke, doubly hilarious considering old Malz's playrate was non existent. If old Malz can be considered uninteractive and hence deserving of a rework, 50% of the champs in the game should be deleted by the sheer fact that they live off of uninteraction, starting with most of the supports.

meanwhile I've always hated annie more than old malzahar, at least malzahar stuns himself while ulting, not to mention new malzahar is worse than old malzahar when it comes to being ''uninteractive'' because of his new passive

People just like to parrot complaints about Malz and Morde and "insert other unpopular champ here."
