Who do you find a lot of fun to play mid lane?

Malzahar, its so satisfying to have your E jump around minions and champions and he kills all those tanky frontline champs without any trouble

Well what I suggest would depend on your reason for wanting a new midlaner...

Did your main get nerfed? Rotate your pool to be more diverse.

Do you have issues with skillshots? Try a skillshot-centric kit like , , or .

Are you wanting to try out a mobile midlane assassin or burstmage? , , or are always solid choices.

Are you having trouble with a specific matchup? Try playing around with specific champions until you find one that is a decent counterpick.

I personally tend to master the champions that I have the most trouble playing AGAINST first, then go from there.

My mid mains are , , and . I play , , , and (even though I own her) as much as possible when they're on free rotation, not only because it helps me stay loose when laning against people that main them, but also because mirror lanes tend to teach you certain things about champs that aren't normally obvious in non-freeweek. Like how much you can poke with Zed's Razor Shurikens and Akali's crescent blade... throwing... thing...or whatever.

Above all, support your team, have fun, learn new things, and never stop improving.

Vel'Koz is a blast.

I main Katarina so naturally I find her to be extremely fun to play in mid-lane. I also like Ahri and Fizz if I feel like playing something else. Talon is also my kind of assassin even though I rarely play him - for whatever reason.

Take the time to master Yasuo and you will look like a god. It also helps that he is extremely fun to play.

My favourite Mid laners are currently , , , and I just bought and have tested him out. I find he is alot of fun.

has some nice CC and NOM NOM to deal with those pesky assassins. Also gets some extra health and amazing sustain from his kit.

you should try it at first his stun is hard to hit on smartcast but he counters high mobility champs pretty well since they cant jump around because you instastun th...

Also, Full AP Cho'Gath. Your ult gives you health and makes you relatively tanky, and your abilities have great AP ratios.

I really like Vel'Koz. His Q lands so often from people not knowing how to dodge it's second part and his skillshots have a lot of combo potential

If you want some fun people who aren't necessarily meta, try AP Varus or Heimer. Both farm well and are a lot of fun.

is secretly an amazing AP mid laner. The Damage on his ult is insane and when you kill someone who is at 50% health from across the map you cant help but to let out a scream of joy

I'd recommend . He's a little challenging to play but he is stupid amounts of fun once you get good at your laser. I'd be wary of him too though because he has started seeing some pro play and getting attached to something when Riot may be preparing to nerf them is kind of a sucky experience.

Is also one of my personal favorites, but he requires a certain taste for utter lane bully domination, with a large amount of strategy and tactical play rather than the standard QWER=Deletion style a lot of mages seem to have.

AD crit DPS Katarina is the dumbest thing ever. Kids don't know bout dat Phantom Assassin roleplay.

Hmm. It would be nice if you included which mid laner you played before. I personally enjoy playing . is more difficult to play successfully because of her skill shots and her kit, but she feels the most rewarding to do well on. was the first mid I played with relative success because of how simple, yet effective she is. The only thing you really have to master is ulting 'correctly' in team fights to hit as many people as possible (or simply their carries). I'm still learning but I enjoy playing him.

Oh, and I also really like because of her versatility, though, she feels unreliable in laning phase because it is hard to land spears on competent opponents that stand behind minions; however, if you do land a spear, you can very easily out--trade or kill by using your ult on the 'hunted target.' Late game she also seems very risky because she has to be in melee range for maximum damage. She seems really fun, but imo, requires a lot of skill to master her versatility and a smart player to make the right decisions.

When I mid I love though recently I've taken a shining to . Also is a ton of fun. If the opponent has a banshee's spell shield just cast your stun through them and activate it behind them. Boom, still stunned~

Jinx mid is fun if you aren't again an assassin. She's good against Akali though, you can poke her and zone her before she is level 6, and if you zone her enough, you can win a duel with her when she hits level 6. You can drop flame chompers and shoot your zap into her stealth shroud too, which is great. :)

i played mid alot when i mained her last season because she is just so fun to play, but it depends on what you like, i always play off meta things like full AP (not recently) , full crit/AP , and even full crit sometimes. The more practical mid laners though are , and riven if you know the match ups

I had success against zed with Tryndamere mid. Once i was snowballing, I kept ganking and it was so fun.
