Hey, Riot, can you speak up about Sona?

Seriously, every AP and utility support has received recent changes since the last 2 patches, even more are being seen to this patch

Where the everloving fuck is Sona in this picture? because she is all over the place

People are gonna QQ about her unless her damage is traded for utility (which tbh seems to be what most sona players want). Realistically, there is very little counterplay to her Q > AA combo, it's just that she's squishy enough for you to at least get a reasonable chunk of damage on her while she does this.

Q only deals good damage at rank 2, all the way to rank 5, then unless she has insane amounts of AP, it does damage (like it should) But if she is utility, she loses her Q's damage midgame

Of course it needs to be somewhat good, or there would be no point in taking it and that would leave Sona with no offensive options at all

I've sadly seen Sona mid work before. And even Sona with just a simple Lichbane or Sheen is just annoying. Rather her passive changed or at least the double damage chord part changed.

Sona's passive costs around 185-200 mana per use based on how late in the game it is.

200 mana. I'll let that sink in.

She's in a bad spot but Riot doesn't know how to fix her. Once they figure it out in sure they'll let us know.

She doesn't need anything in the way of buffs. She has a positive win rate and healthy play rate through every rank. (Barring a "minimal" play rate in Master+)

If she's going to get any changes, it's going to end up being a tweak, not a buff.

I wouldn't really say that she is "healthy"

she dominates with little knowledge but at higher elos, she becomes potentially the most counter-able champion in the game, with her terrible stats and her falloff when she gets behind

She is literally a training wheels champion who is swapped out for someone better when you learn to support better, no champion in the game should be deemed the "tutorial champion" so they never see play outside of low ranking games Specially when that champion is 30+ games out of reach for new players

I don't agree with that. She is easy to pick up, but her power chords, effectiveness dependant on positioning, and skillshot ultimate all make her skill ceiling pretty damn high. She doesn't fall off. She has a great mid-game and although does seem to fall off right after (where she still has a positive win-rate), she in fact has a serious advantage once everyone's full build and a single Crescendo can decide the game.
