Just shows how messed up Riots Match Making is

This account can not climb for its life. I go 14/3 and my team goes 2/12 over and over. I am matched with REALLY bad players all the time.

My other account (not a smurf) is climbing and Im getting Team mates that actually have brains most of the time.

This account I would be dodging 4/5 games my other account I dodge maybe 1/5-6 games.

I play the SAME champions in the same positions with the same Builds and same Runes on both accounts.

So what is different between the two?

  1. This account is OLD (created in S2), the other is from S6 but has been really inactive.
  2. This account I played a lot when there was Positional Ranks and focused on Top and Mid, the other account did not play at all this season until after positional was removed.
  3. This account has about 350-400 games, the other account has 45-50 games
  4. This account has a 47% (last season I was 52%) win rate (+14 LP/ - 24 LP), the other account has a 45% win rate ( +22 LP/ - 18)

The #1 Reason my second account is winning and this account is losing is Riots Matching me with TRASH on my teams and NOT on the other account.

happens, mean i have a negative win rate currently, will say a lot was me being SOOO average at the start, now for the past 2 months even when i get fed out of my mind i cant do anything. that and for some reason i tend to be first pick a questionable amout of times. like my account is flagged or some shit

What is happening to this account is also happening to those in Silver and those in Gold and those in Plat and those in Diamond.

Its a Systemic issue with Riots Match Making.

I'm confused here. You are on a great winning streak. But thats bad? People have this misconception that mmr is messed up right now. MMR is a smart system that calculates how good you are based on other factors that aren't win rates. -Vision score -Kill participation -Objective control and more

So you may be Bronze 1, but have the skillset of bronze 3, and you've just coinflipped the better team to climb, but the system still calculates your skill set.

MMR is based ONLY on win rate.

My win rate for this account is going down because Riots Match making is putting me on teams with VERY bad players that make games UNWINNABLE by anyone.

My OTHER account is winning because my team mates actually can play.

Im not having to 1v9 EVERY game on the second account.

I play the SAME champs the same position and its me playing the same way.

The ONLY factor that is different is Riots Match Making.

Lol, I'm here to tell you that mmr is not based on win rate. Thats just a fact. Idk where you're pulling that out of. Shocking that you didn't even look up what mmr is and try to tell me what it is.

Riot Matchmaking Guide

Matchmaking Rating Your Matchmaking Rating (MMR) is a number that Riot uses to determine your skill, and when matchmaking, the skill of your opponents. Everyone’s MMR starts at the same point when playing a queue for the first time.

** It goes up when you win, and goes down when you lose.**

When looking for games to put you in, it will look for other players whose numbers are close to yours. You have a separate MMR in each queue, so you can climb in one queue without it affecting others.

What Elo is each account in?

I'm pretty sure Low Elo accounts tend to gain LP more easily than High Elo accounts...

Exact same situation. My smurf (no I'm not posting it cause I don't need stalked) is doing AMAZING and is fairly inactive. This account? It's a dumpster fire.

This account is hardstuck Silver 4 and previously Silver 2 around 2 weeks ago...

Second account just steam rolled from bronze 2 to Silver 3 in that time.
