Not when I am very low at hp and mana right after I finished a solo kill on my lane opponent. I am pretty much useless with such stat I AM NOT GOING IN JUST TO FEED ANOTHER KILL.

Or that ADC that makes you regret not picking Tahm Kench because they are acting like Irelia in fights.
The Deckowner1 votesI donno man I was playing mid having a good time laning but were struggling abit cuz enemy premade camping, then this thresh flame me non stop the entire game cuz I didnt participate in their blue buff fight while i won 1v1 against enemy talon, forcing me to mute him through out the game.

If you're not participating in fights, then that's bad, especially as someone who builds AP.
By late game you'll normally be less effective because people will have fully built MR items while you're still squishy. Your time to clean up is mid game, and it's such an incredibly small window for you to help your team out unfortunately.
1v1s matter less than team fights, so if you are constantly busy doing your own thing, then you are hurting your team.
The team that groups the best always wins, and if you find yourself left out of a lot of fights, you need to adjust because everyone else is on the same page. You need to manage your resources accordingly, and it can be hard sometimes, but you still have to do it to win.
