Warwick: Please remove the AA cancelation on his E2 and remove W's weird combat restriction.

Warwick

Warwick is one of, if not the most, balanced champion in the game right now. I main him and he's really fun to play. However, he feels clunky to play, sometimes, and he has some game breaking bugs that affects his stance in the meta, at all ranks. To add to that, He has 2 weird restrictions in his kit, that never made sense to me:

  • E: The second activation will cancel Warwick's basic attack. Warwick cannot attack during the animation.
  • W: After being in combat with a champion, Blood Hunt may only be activated passively for 3 seconds. Its bonus movement speed will also be lost for 0.5 seconds, but will build up again every 0.25 seconds over the next 3.5 seconds.

Considering the CC on his Primal Howl only lasts for 1 sec, I find it really weird that they put that restriction. If the CC lasted for more than, say, 1.5 sec, I would understand why they would do that to balance things out. But for a 1 sec CC, that has an animation during which he can't attack? By the time the CC is over, he would be lucky to land 2 AAs, at best, with some AS items! And let's not even talk about the number of times his AA gets canceled in a duel or teamfight and he ends up letting someone escape, or dies himself, because of it.

In contrast, we have champions like Evelynn, who can CC you, and shred your MR with her W, for up to 2 sec, and she can still do whatever she wants during those seconds, no AA cancels or anything. Same thing with Hecarim, who can AoE fear with his R for up to 1.5 sec while being able to charge with his E and use Q too. Again, no restrictions. So, why is Warwick being shackled for just a 1 sec CC?!

About Blood Hunt, why is he losing his movement speed in combat? His whole theme is about hunting his prey! He's a relentless hunter. If anything, he should be more agile in combat, not the opposite! And what's up with these conditions of building up MS slowly over time? At least, if you're gonna take away his MS, give it back to him fully functional. Why the wait?!

Him being able to catch up to his wounded prey should be fast and swift. Did you ever see a predator slow down when his prey is right in front of him trying to run away? Warwick is a predator, not a tormentor. If it was Thresh hunting down his prey, I would understand that, thematically, he would slow down and enjoy seeing his prey suffer, before finishing him off. But it's Warwick we're talking about here.

Do I need to remind you that League is full of champions that are overloaded with mobility spells, especially Blinks and Dashes? Do you know how many times Warwick's preys get away from him, with a sliver of HP remaining, because he lost his MS and couldn't catch them up after they blinked/dashed away from him?

And please, don't give me that BS about how mobile he is out of combat. Well, of course, he should be. He is supposed to be hunting his enemies down. That's his theme. I know he's supposed to be kiteable and that's his intended weakness, supposedly. But all these nonsensical restrictions on his kit, and considering all the bugs with his Q, W and R, just makes it really hard to play Warwick at a higher level. If you're gonna overload the game with mobility, especially blinks and dashes, at least give the hunter a chance to truly HUNT, goddamnit!

I also find his CD on W to be way too high across the board when activated.

I don't really mind the long CD on W, since it gives a really useful global passive anyway. It's these weird restrictions that I find bad.

Warwick can Auto->Titanic->Q, with PTA proc, in less than a second I think, and it'd be so toxic if he was able to fear and do that

Warwick has ways of sticking to enemies, with his Q, E and R, so I don't think there's an issue there

A good QoL would be if he got the movement speed/attack speed on his W for 3-5 seconds and that duration constantly refreshed, so you still get the effects a little while after a low health enemy dies
