The game will never be perfectly balanced because no game is perfectly balanced and people change and do new things constantly

Also riot will make more champions as long as they need to make more money which will be forever until something closes them down or kills us all

The day that happens is the day League of Legends 2 comes out.

Nothing will never NOT be OP. Right now, nothing is op, in my eyes at least. There are strong champs and weak champs. But nothing hits OP. If you played against LB when she first came out you KNOW what op is. There will always be someone "claiming" some champ is op and it is their right to do so. Champions being OP are opinions so it will never come to that point.

I stopped believing in Santa when I was 5

I guess there's no absolute perfection in balance since "balance" itself is worked on according to a "meta" idea by Riot and the maximum we can get is perfect balance for that meta (which eventually shifts due to new champion releases and players finding ways to exploit the tools of the current meta to gain "unbalanced" advantage).

Actually the game is already really close to balanced

Only a few outliers remain OP

The problem is tho, there are more than a few champions that are underpowered, and when you buff those there becomes a risk that they break the balance again. Also new champions tend to have a similar effect.

The final problem is... A perfectly balanced game can often get stale.

the problem is.... that riot LOVES to slap incredible new numbers on chaimpions instead of just fine tuning and tweaking slightly. instead of adding a 5 here, and and 1 there. their like "SHIT THIS BALANCE IS OP +40 MANA ALL SPELLS -40 DMG get rid of passive MOVE LIKE SNAIL NOW NO SUMMONER SPELLS DIE INSTANTLY IF IT'S TUESDAY

They won't balance all the champions to one standard; by keeping some champions OP at some times and others not, they keep the game interesting and fresh, and create pick diversity.

Or, at least, that's the idea.

Can't say that S5 WW has made the game feel "interesting and fresh".

Then we would have Brood War.

The assassins and fighters will all get nerfed again, because marksmen mains will complain about how useless they feel.

then a handful of perfect strategies will rise to the top and ittl become far more stale. perfect balance is bad, you want perfect imbalance.
