Riven would not work with mana or energy

Lol she already runs on heat with all the flame she gets from the community.

I don't understand the QQ, she is a very difficult champion to play. I get the feeling that people don't like to be outplayed very much, or just don't understand that all champions have weaknesses that can be exploited :\

I can only assume that's why the Ahri hate train became a thing too.

She would totally work. Not only that but you could opt to buy triforce on her then. And she'd probably get some sort of compensation buff.

Riven will not work on energy or mana if you keep her the way she is now, period.

OP: Don't make Riven spamming abilities punishable, we shouldn't have to think about when to use abilities, we are too stupid to manage a basic fucking recourse, we should just spam our abilities knowing they will come back in 5 seconds.

there needs to be something to gate her Q. Imagine the mobility fizz gets from E but without a cost and thats the problem.

She would stack pretty quickly with all that QQ'ing that Riven players are famous for.

Indeed, instead they should give her a Heat like resource like Rumble has so she can use her abilities a lot but can also silence herself if she's spamming them to just run away from someone.

She could definitely work with mana/energy. Give her abilities low mana costs and bam, she can't stay in lane for an eternity and would have clear weak points.

Down voting all of the people trying to suggest ideas is silly.. and also isn't going to solve anything at all. Let's see if riven went off of energy you could still give her very low costs. 40 for q and her second and third cast are free if cast with in 3 seconds. Make w 40 and E 50. Ulti can be 100 since riot loves making ultis cost 100 mana. If we did energy, the q would work the same way, different ways of getting energy? She has to stun two or more with w or land all three hits of q. If you don't think that riven is broken/etc. Please give reasons as to why. Answers that are not allowed are the following.. Counter picking against her, and cc as these can happen to any champ. I want specific weak points of her. Thanks and I look forward to conversation with whoever responds =]

Well, with energy I can see her with it. Mana wouldn't work, as the naturally low cooldowns would drain her mana far too fast to be effective in lane. But energy is a different story. It would really make Rivens actually have to put THOUGHT into how they jump into enemies then burst them with her ult and hop away.

Imo Riven with energy would work better than Mordecaiser in botlane.

Oh look. NERDSMASHER has made a smurf, however, for once I agree she doesn't need a reasource. People complain that they can not beat her when she is quite easy to beat if you just abuse her high early CDs on someone like Rnenekton or Hecarim, Or Olaf.

Riven always had one problem... her upps and downs are just a consequence

she is a feast or famine champion

either she loses the lane due to being counterpicked ganked or outplayed ... and she is behind hard ... her chances of compeeting into the game are slim

or she winns the lane ... and with raw force she makes you unable to find any weakness on her to capitalize on

as the numbers shuffle the probability of seeing a fed riven changes ... right now its getting higher and higher so forums are flaming

thats a bad gameplay riot once fought againtst ... now they dont seem to mind
