Seriously, why do we still have promotion series?
They feel arbitrary.
They are not enjoyable.
They do not add any depth to the ranking system.
They only add unneeded stress that's even worse than the 'elo anxiety' that Riot implemented tiers to eliminate in the first place.
Riot's only excuse for them is "It feels rewarding to pass", but that's only because nobody likes them in the first place.
