I think we should rework Teemo into a duelist champion

In his current state, Teemo has strong dueling power, but at the same time he's also able to do mage level damage. And his damage is always guaranteed. Meaning his abilities NEVER miss, so he is guaranteed to do VERY high amounts of damage no matter what happens. Considering how strong of a duelist he is, he shouldn't be allowed to burst like a mage as well.

His ult is not guaranteed. The way you counter teemo is to do damage but not be AA based and keep map control on him. You keep track of him and he loses his strengths. Also you get your tanks to dive him while everyone avoids his shrooms. item 3147 and item 3364 are your best friends against him.

His ult IS guaranteed. He places it in areas that you NEED to walk through in order to access certain parts of the map. And what you're asking for is ridiculous (need to not be AA based). Name one adc or top laner that doesn't use auto attacks. There are none.

If you have item 3364 + a item 2049 and everyone wards well you can see where he is and where he is shrooming. Just turn on oracles when you want to fight and avoid the shrooms. He loses 50% of his burst and poke by you doing that.

If they ever rework teemo, they should still keep his build diversity in place. As much as I hate playing against that cute, fluffy creature named teemo, The player should still be able to keep their build diversity for certain situations and playstyles.

No, the build diversity should not stay. As much as I love diversity, all it does is make champions impossible to balance. Name one champion with hybrid damage that hasn't been problematic to balance? Ezreal and Kog are a nightmare to balance for this reason. AP Yi and Tryndamere were problems, so bye bye ap scaling. Hybrid champions are just not good for this game.

I was not talking about the hybrid champion, but the build diversity itself. I think that teemo build diversity is fine other than frozen mallet being such a toxic item. If you take away his build diversity when he gets reworked, a lot of the people who played him won't be happy since a lot of people either went ad or ap. Ezreal is not a balance nightmare due to being hybrid, he's hard to balance due to not building any crit or having any aa on hit modifier (his q isn't strictly an aa). Maybe making the hybrid counterpart (teemo being ad) should be kept slightly weaker than ap, but I personally don't think build diversity is bad. I didn't play when ap tryndamere was a thing but his issue I believe was how high his ratio was. Yi's issue was probably how uncounterable his damage was with his Q. I think Eve was fine as hybrid, but her play pattern was a bit off. I don't know though, maybe my opinion is biased because I main poppy and I don't like going the general full tank build (I still like playing her when building full tank, but not as much).

He is a tiny fluffy yordle with a little blowgun, it doesn't really make sense if he becomes even more of a duelist/burst mage kinda thing. He is supposed to be this sneaky little guy that waits like a spider the net to catch out people and then kill them with his traps. If they rework him they should rather focus on that aspect imo instead of making him into a guy that jumps into someones face.

No this is EXACTLY what he should be. He's supposed to be someone who counters auto attack champions. Not a mage.
