is it better to die for tower and the tower lives?
is it worth or no. either give up tower and save yourself or give up yourself to keep tower alive and safe at the moment.

the thing about this is that the question usually isn't "do I die and save tower or save myself and tower dies?" The question usually "Do I save myself and tower dies or do we both die because if they kill me they can kill tower to?"
you buy time in other words for your teammate to defend it. thats what i meant otherwise if you leave the tower dies due to no presence and the enemy will be freely damaging it. if you stay you die but your teammate could use that damage you did to 'maybe' clean them.
Depends on so many factors.
give scenarios please to elaborate.

I'm 0/6, go ahead and kill me for tower, we get more gold then you.
First blood of a tower, oh yeah, I might, but if I die, I give up 1k worth of gold from my bounty hmmmm?
There are just FAR too many what ifs and shit.
Almost always give up the tower. Giving up yourself, especially later game often means your entire team can't engage until your back and will get overrun or blow ults to hold on, or lose more than that tower. This is common in silver and knowing to let towers go can easily bump players up an entire division. Giving up yourself in these situations can often be the direct cause of a loss.
why do people say towers are important then if dying contributes greater to a loss.

It really revolves around the snowball effect in most cases. If enemy is fed and knocking on tower and it's low health, they'll become stronger, but if you try to save it, you make them even stronger because they got a kill and a tower.
If a large group is attacking tower while leaving theirs unattended, they'll bust yours for that first tower gold reward getting them (most cases) that gold lead to start the snowball.
Snowballing makes it really hard to counter once it gets going.
So unless your team coordinates to prevent this, its going to get worse.
you give up the tower, the instinct is not to give up the tower which is incorrect.
I understand why to give up low hp towers since their protection has little value due to the fact they are crumbling soon. If they say towers are objectives then your supposed to protect them yet your supposed to abandon them when it's you/full hp tower vs the deathball 5 or 4.

if you're about to get dived under a full hp turret, you leave the turret. that is the correct/most optimal play, all the time. go reset, you don't give up kill gold, kill experience, time on the map, etc. if we were to be correct then one should never be trying to defend that situation just b, let the minions die, and the wave reset, some turret plates can be made up later elsewhere. but that's not fun so i don't do that despite knowing it's what should be done, plus that's my fucking turret and i take any dmg on it as an insult so yolo i'ma try the 1v2, 1v3, etc., sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. leaving the turret ALWAYS works. at least i get mah season rewards :/
its like attending a doc appointment you dont want to do it but you have to. its maintenance/preservation i understand its not fun letting your tower lane die (hell i get emotional too ITS MY TOWER My responsiblity for petes sake lol) its like life you have to bear with its loss. but make it up somewhere else.
The tower dies anyway if not now that a minute or a half later. So you just doubled the gold the enemy team would have gotten from that.
There are certainly scenarios where this is no true, but generally speaking: Just leave.
thats true. if your not stomping its inevitable that it will die later. if you are stomping its just a checkpoint that lets you know a yorick was there.
