So why would I ever pick Cass again?

I mean really I just remember watching worlds today ( I hardly EVER watch to be fair ) and one of the caster / commentators pointed out how invaluable Azir's DPS was. He's basically like an AP marksman in some regards, and I just nodded like "Yeah, dude can really burn down a tank, a whole team if they're stupid enough to clump together. Talk about DPS"

And then I remembered how stupid Cass is in comparison.

Her ENTIRE kit revolves around shooting her E at poisoned targets to do consistent dps and, y'know what, not only is that dumb from a_ design_ viewpoint (Yeah she's half snake, so, like the serpents and gorgon of legends, she should shoot her own teeth at her enemies in massive quantities) but she's not even that good at it.

Her fangs do 55% of her AP per cast, and can be cast a maximum of twice per second, assuming she didn't cast at a target that was not currently poisoned. Azir's soldiers do 60% of his AP per cast, and attack as quickly as he can auto attack.

Cass pays 90 Mana per fang, and Azir pays 40 mana per soldier.

I'm only comparing these two because they seem to do similar things, and yet Cass just seems worse. I was playing cass earlier in ranked and did amazing. But there were times where I would ult someone, and run out of mana before I could kill them with my Es. Or I would poison a bunch of people in a team fight, and E someone who's poison just wore off, and then my DPS would drop for the whole fight.

Did I mention that Cass can only E one person per fight while Azir's soldiers can easily be stabbing the majority of the enemy team at Dragon / Baron during a seige?

So in What Scenario does Cass Excel?

I would only player if i wanted to send the enemy midlaner recalling at level 2-3

or nuke people, similar case with brand, no mobility but insane damage and CC, they aren't super op omg nerf2015, because of the current meta but they are VERY strong.

they are hidden under the radar ETC ETC

Cass actually plays like an AP adc though, which means her damage can be applied to targets more easily as all she has to worry about is whether the target is posioned and whether they are in range. Azir has a lot more micro-managing to do to apply his damage. Honestly while they are both DPS champs they really aren't comparable. To me the big issue with Cass is that she plays almost exactly like an immobile ADC with all the accompanying weaknesses, but without the turret pushing power.

well cass used to be strong like really strong . then they nerfed/reworked her hoiw she is now. she is meant for 1v1 a assassin in other words becuase u need to posion thn hit e then q to gain the bonus damage. and azizr has his ult for peelign . and if u get spell vamp on that mofo its liek lifesteal on a ad person meanign every attack the soldiers do procs spell vamp

She's basically obsolete at this point and Riot couldn't care less about her. I already stopped counting how many threads were made about this so far and Riot has yet to address the issue even once. They deliberately ignore any discussion related to her.
