Do you play a champion with even a 5% ban rate as your main? Say goodbye to them for the rest of the time you play. I understand the logic behind more bans but unless the system does Pick and bans simultaneously or something (I pick ori mid and dont want to face a yasuo so I ban him at the same time) it wouldnt work. Some champions I can think of that usually are not to high up on the ban list but probably would get hit hard are Irelia, Tahm Kench, and maybe talon which are all strong but I would rather have the occasion sated kench that 3 shots me every 10 games then never being able to have the option to learn him if I want.

If you can only play one champ, you honestly don't deserve to win and climb the ladder.

That isn't the point. I can play a decent number of champions but I play a few that are just out of range of bans because there are enough "op" champions I can still play the ones I ENJOY. It is a competitive game but I don't just play meta sheep champions lol.

If you play non meta champs, you don't have to worry about bans. With 10 bans, it would only remove 8% of the champion pool. And that number goes down with every new champ released.

The real reason people are against this is that they reached high elo strictly playing OP champs. If you ban out the top meta picks, they will drop like rocks in the rankings because their skill level is inflated by the champs they play. I know I'm going to get tons of QQ for this, but a wise man once said "Truth hurts".

i believe that as the champion pool expands, so does the amount of god tier champions that are almost or are pick/ban so yes i think that we should have more bans and yes i think that some of that power should be spread with the players but 10 bans is a little too much

adding on to that, maybe a team vote on who to ban with tie's make a completely random vote

There are currently 6 bans, so 4 more wouldn't be a big increase. Percentage wise, it would be lower than when the game was released.
