I don't understand. How does disabling Riven and Zed have anything to do with game balance?

Because they are both broken and no one but the Zed and Riven mains wants them in the game.

Zed isn't even that good in Solo Q, nor is he even used competitively that often. Riven is strong in Solo Q, but other champs are stronger.

The reason both of these champions are hated is because they are mega toxic. The both do insane damage and are very safe too. Zed can just shadow away if in trouble or shadow in so you can't escape him. Riven can Q safely away from any pursuer or easily catch anyone trying to get away. They are pretty low risk/high reward champs.

You are aware that Riven can only Q away if she didn't use it to engage, right?

If a Riven that Qs into a bad trade manages to get away scot free, it's your fault.

I mean, I guess if your jungler tries to gank when Riven is just CSing by auto attacking, sure, she will probably get away. Most mobile champs will. Even some less mobile champs will, like Garen.

Riven's damage is only "insane" if she's ahead. If she's not ahead she's perfectly manageable. Riven is strong, but she's not even the best Solo Q top laner, and it's possible to put her behind and make her a liability to her team.

You can't do that to Wukong.

If she used it to engage, you are probably dead. Even if she gets in trouble, she just stuns you, starts running, and then her Q comes off it's stupid low CD and she gets away.

Even if she falls behind early, she can still come back and become a force once she gets a couple items.

I will agree that Wukong is pretty OP right now too.
