PSA: Stop taking Raptors (on your side of the map) if you're not the jungler.

I've seen this happen so much. Mid/ADC/Top laner will just go over to the Raptor camp and kill them.

Why is this bad?

Its bad because Raptors hold Oracles. To gain this effect, you have to smite them. Meaning that if you don't have smite, don't touch the raptors. Its insanely more important that your jungler gets them so that they can go around and start clearing out wards . That's basically it. You taking raptors means jungler doesn't get the fancy pants oracle off of them, which means that there's less vision control for your team now.

I'm surprised at how many people I see don't take that into consideration. Take anything else from the jungle, but don't take the Raptors. The only times I would say that you're fine doing so is if a.) the enemy team is trying to take them or b.) you've invaded the enemy team's jungle and found their raptors, which you're more than welcome to kill to deny their oracle effect.
