New Spells Concepts

So after playing Poro King I have confirmed that League is a lot better without Flash. Also what else is confirmed are the champions that end up getting played that I thought would get played if Flash was not in the game (which is the opposite of what everyone else thinks). I am being very vague here because I do not want Poro King to form any kind of meta game. Anyways, getting on topic I will introduce new spell IDEAS that removes Flash from the game (I would also recommend a blink removal as well, which wouldn't be that hard to do). The short text is that there will be three spells one for initiating, one for escaping danger, and one for going through terrain; these spells should not be taken every game for most games but allows for certain champions that need one of these mechanics to obtain it within champion select.

Poro Toss: Fire a poro in the target direction if it hits an enemy it deals minor true damage based on your champion's level and allows Poro Toss to be activated again within 3 seconds to jump to the struck enemy. 40 seconds cooldown; 180 seconds cooldown if you jump to an enemy skill shot range: 1000 units

Pulse: Unleash a shockwave around you to push back enemy units to the perimeter of the shockwave. 210 seconds cooldown shockwave range: 550 units

Transparent: Ignore all unit collision and impassable terrain for 6 seconds. 90 seconds cooldown

Suggested Spells Below:

Reflect: Form a barrier around you for 2 seconds to block the next incoming spell; if the spell had any crowd control then it is reflected back at the attacker. 240 seconds cooldown

This is a spell shield that can send (if any) crowd control back that the spell might have had; so this is very much a reactive summoner spell for defense. The difference between Reflect and Cleanse would be Reflect has to be used before the spell lands while Cleanse will be used after plus Cleanse 65% tenacity for 3 seconds ad well; so one is surviving a lethal spell and escaping from it and the other is surviving crowd control.

Alternate Variations Below:

Transparent: Use on terrain to quickly dash through it in a straight line. 120 seconds cooldown 500 units range (this would be the point-and-click range as well as the dash range; the dash range will be increased further only if the terrain is thicker than the dash range)

This creates the same mechanic as my initial idea of still having a spell that grants Flash's ability to go through terrain. This spell would only be taken in certain scenarios, mainly in a game where you are playing a champion with no natural ability to go through terrain against a team which most of them can go through terrain.

My ideas are to be mainly in place to create spell diversity; and to avoid 'one spell answers everything'. These spells should fill the void of a Flash removal while not being dominant like Flash since they are split mechanics to the point where all 10 players will not have one of these spells in one of there spell slots like seeing the 10 Flash games every game with the rare 8-9 Flash game. The probability of seeing these spells every game is very high, but seeing 4-8 players using one of the 3-4 new spells will create more spell diversity in of itself let alone just creating spell diversity within the new summoner spells themselves.

so, give everyone Lee sin Qs for summoner spell More options for CC in the form of summoner spells? hell naw 90 second CD is pretty short for a spell that allow you to escape as if you had flash ;l

it would nerf Lee Sin and make him less dominant- but pretty much you can say something about any gap closer--- and not everyone will use it and best 2 people in one game would use it, but if you are a poke comp then poro toss would be useless since you never want to engage on them you just want to poke them- Lee Sin's Q mechanic is fine though, so I cannot see the problem with this--- but basically it can allow the opponent to try to dodge the skill shot or expect a move coming potentially offering healthier gameplay

made Pulse to ensure there is not a meta that involves only hard initiators since Poro Toss would greatly help them and the roles you see now remain (top/mid/jungle/marksman/support) a pushback is healthier than a blink via Flash- if the radius is too stronge it would be toned down, or cooldown to low it be increased

transparent is also in place so that champions without dashes or blinks [which blinks should be removed] can do the same thing as those champions which is walk through terrain transparent would need gameplay testing, a longer cooldown felt weak- but i was thinking that it would get used to create some unique pathing for interesting and dynamic gameplay

Dodge: Avoids attacks but not spells for 1 second. 180 seconds cooldown.

Mirror: Enemy spell applied on you its also applied to the caster. 90 seconds cooldown. (activates automatically).

Tribute: Change position with your ally at the cost of your life. (Flash range). 210 cooldown.

lol'd with the poro toss. Op.

Poro Toss in the poro king would be OP, but it can keep the same mechanics just a higher cooldown and lower range-

Dodge mechanics was removed for a reason, while Blind is fine because it is like Silence for the basic attacker and is also a conscious decision of who you want to mitigate damage from

Mirror I have actually created a spell shield that reflects CC back at the target is the spell had CC for one of my champion concepts. Blocking a spell and Reflecting that spell's CC (if any) could still work as a summoner spell as well.

Tribute would work like Urgot's ultimate except with allies, the problem here though is that it can be a really troll summoner spell. No, the spell shouldn't kill you, but it would be interesting a support spell if you are in a safe spot but your marksman isn't you can swap positions to save your ally. I do think of spells with some kind of selfish gain for the user even if there are supportive ones like heal, clarity, CV, exhaust, etc. they still have selfish gains with health, mana, vision, protection (and kill potential with the shreds).

Guess you're right, i have no spell ideas. Was fun trying tho.

I did add Reflect as a suggested spell- the problem is if it would be too strong would be the thing

flash #1 most used summoner in the game. Is also picked over ghost in nearly all situations because it's flat out better.

That is why Flash should be removed because of its dominance- and if you consider any of my three spells overpowered Flash can do all three at the same time and better~ Not having Flash at all in Poro King makes the mode a lot more fun- and it isn't even the mobile champions that are dominant in the mode which is what everyone thought would happen in a world without Flash (Fizz is still broken though, and Ezreal is still annoying but these happen now with the two of them) Poro Toss makes a lot more action and brawling which is really fun and would be entertaining to play/watch on summoner's rift; while Flash creates very passive play. Which is where you can see Ziggs and poke champions with their passive play stall out games and makes games never end even with a clear victor on the other side. Either way with a way in for engage champions and less of a free escape for passive champions if they get caught stupidly there will be a lot more action on the map- mobile champions being less mobile means they can actually be punished when miss using their mobility.

Point being- I think a flash removal would be healthier for the game, a blink removal would be good too (the blink spells can be replaced with some kind of dash type ability, blink champions are Fiddlesticks, Lissandra, Kassadin, Zed, Yasuo, Warwick, Katarina, Ezreal [sorry if I forget someone] since Dashes have better gameplay and counterplay while Blinks have none (Zed at least you know where he goes when he ults and Lissandra has the claw on the ground))
