Do you think Pyke's 80 percent heal is a bit much?

I hate laning against him recently. It's like I burst him and he just walks into a bush for a few seconds, comes out and has suddenly replenished 80 percent of the damage I did to him. Combined with pots he just gets all his hp back. I don't usually die to him unless his jungle comes but that heal just never lets me get close to finishing him.

Pyke is a bit of a wierd champion since its impossible for him to increase his max health through items i feel sometimes they do go a little overboard with compensating him on that especially since Assassins in general are not building HP items anyways.

BuT hE cAnT BuIlD Hp!!!! ~ every pyke player ever

But no for real. His healing is absolutely stupid. He is practically immune to poke.

Do you lane at level 18? cause at level 1 its 30% heal and at 18 it's 81% So, you are full of crap

It's like rengar but at least pyke has to leave

I've been saying it's excessive since his launch. If they're going to keep the heal so high, the gray health needs to have a time limit to it.

Yeah, it's a bit excessive

He has a too strong kit overall two dashes, hook, ms buff, invis, ally goldsharing, strong heal and a true dmg aoe execute with reset.

I mean every champ needs strong sides, but here we got almost no weaknesses.

And yes, a melee champ shouldn't be able to heal like 70% of the dmg taken just by leaving. It makes melee's weakness of being shortranged negligible for poke.

He's hard to kill in lane - so what - that's part of his identity. Don't poke him, poke the ADC. Plus - you don't have to kill him at all in lane to win. Come out of lane 0-0 and he's too gold starved to contribute much of value. Meanwhile if you're on a more traditional support you can pull much more weight than him in mid-late game team fights and push that advantage.

You can't look at just one aspect of the game and deem a character OP.

taleofsonata6/14/2019, 9:33:05 PM1 votes

Well, he can't build health. Question answered, to make up for not being able to build health he needs to have some sort of hp regen.

AR URF6/13/2019, 7:11:35 PM1 votes

It needs to go on a much longer cooldown. The fact that he can just leave, wait for it to cooldown and comeback without his ADC suffering too much is just dumb.

WAY too OP

What he needs is cost increase to his pull. Just like all other champion with such ability. He has the power to nearly oneshot an enemy with something that cost so little. Make him PAY for missing.

He's the most lopsided risk vs reward champion ever created. He can make as many mistakes as he want and then use his stun (which for some reason the game counts as a flash and not a dash so he can go through things like veigar wall), swim away, and then be at full hp.

Meanwhile if a single member of your tea gets to 50% health he has a chance to get a pentakill with double the normal gold reward.
