Is master yi over powered?

In my opinion he is. I'm just not too sure why a champion is allowed to go 1/10, but just because they didn't lose before late game can click R click the enemy team and get a penta.

"Just CC him" is such a braindead take. The guy has enough blinks to dodge most damage and CCs anyway and all he has to do is literally wait for the enemy team to use at least one of their CCs before he can 1v9. The champ is ridiculously overpowered and the stats show it. He's not just good in low elo, he has a winrate well above 50% and in my opinion is it far too hard to properly shut him down while also having to check off the enemy Mid laner AND extremely dangerous ADCs like Vayne who will kill everything if not instantly focused.

How does a team that trashes their opponent so hard to make even the jungler go 1/10 not have already won the game?

In my experience if he gets cced he'll just wait til he's free and then penta the enemy team.

When does some carry get CCed in League that doesn't then just die in that CC?

I would like to know; I want to go play in that year of League.

Considering there is a high elo strat where they litteraly just funnel as much gold as possible into him, yeah. Safe to say he’s pretty broken. If it was any other champion he would have already been gutted.

Your argument makes no sense. Here is what your argument is really "why can't I win when I got yi behind and did nothing with it for 40 mins reeeee" if you do nothing with a lead vs a champion with a strong late you should lose like how is that not fair.

Overpowered no, extremely unfair and toxic, yes.

The game is not about score. If he is 0/15 but farmed 300 minions in 30 min and has couple of assists and tower gold, he should have his items and an ability to kill whole enemy team just as much as Yi who has 15 0 score but 100 minions. (Numbers are relative) Master Yi is indeed a very strong champion. Strongest duelist in my opinion. If team lacks coordination, he is going to be a problem. The game is about skill and items. Also your only goal is not to fight, but to destroy enemies' Nexus.

In the right hands, a lot of champions seem really broken. But since the strength of a character contributes much less to the victory than a good strategy and synergy, being broken doesn't really affect the game that much.

Is Yi broken? Yes, if you build the right items.

He dies to any sort of hard cc He only survives because of hos mobility

Absolutely. He is invulnerable for too long with his Q. By the time your team can start damaging him, he has 4 of you down to half hp. Then he proceeds to get a penta with his high attack speed and attack damage.

I'm not sure if he's op or not but surely a toxic as hell champ.

The only thing he brings is damage. Use your abilities better to win fights

he's very strong but pretty useless without peel unless he's very very ahead
