Solo kills are worth 300g, team kills are worth 450g

Why? It gives me no incentive to kill my lane opponent until my jungle arrives for that free extra 150g. Killing my lane opponent without my jungler merely racks up my bounty by 100g (for a potential 550g, 250g more than the kill I just got).

What's worse is if you go for that potential 300g kill you may potential fall into a camping jungle gank that nets the opponent 450g for what would have been 300g for you. There's just no incentive to go for kills.

Same goes for first blood. FB is only worth 400g solo and 600g with 1 or more assists.

The reward for teamplay should be an easier take down, not a more rewarding take down.

You ask why top lane feels bad? This is why.

So would you prefer you get less gold for an assisted kill, because the same 300 has to be split up?

Then no one will want someone to come help them, and ganks won’t happen as junglers are just going to try and solo the enemy.

Might as well make this game 1v1s only. It’s a team game, and you get rewarded for team play.

Yes. Here's why: A dead champion cannot CS. A dead champion cannot defend their turret. A dead champion really can't do anything dead.

The reward is the 300g split kill gold, the 50% xp gain split, and the opportunity to take advantage of their death via objective control, tower destruction or CS denial via shoving into tower before they can come back.

They do not need the extra 150g stacked on top of all these advantages.

Yeah that's one of the reasons why solo lane player has near to no impact on the game and you need at least 3 people fed on your team to match enemy fed bot lane. The bounty for solo kill should be increased while the one for team kill lowered. That would make it easier for solo player to carry and actually matter.

I understand the sentiment, but gold (and more importantly, XP) is often more valuable on an individual than the team.

Top Lane doesn't feel bad because of this. It's the opposite really. Top Lane feels bad because there are more solo kills which result in big XP gaps and make the Lane over before anyone can come help.

A solo kill gives you a half level of xp. It's huge. Pretty much guarantees a full level by the time you get back to Lane.

If you split that XP, it seems to be way less. Idk if you actually split the half level or you get less because there are multiple people. It feels like the latter even though I've never read it that way.

I consistently develop huge XP leads if I'm getting solo kills. I don't often get a level lead as a result of my jungler camping for me. He doesn't get one either.

Even with a few kills of gold, I can't just delete my Lane opponent 1v1 on anything but an assassin without a level lead too.

XP is split evenly between participants yes. However, that downside is countered by the fact that they get more gold overall for the assisted take down.

I'd wager that 300g kill + 150g assist + 25% experience is roughly equal to 300g + 50% experience. All depends on the champion(s) in question (some scale far better with level and some junglers scale better with gold).

This is the reason I don't understand "ks" callers.
