I've been getting a lot of AFK players in my games recently and all of them have resulted in losses. It doesn't matter how fed or how ahead we are, AFK players are literally worse than feeders/trolls/ragers combined. Because every team fight is a fiasco, we all get aced while one or more players on the other team stay alive while our AFK is also alive, but standing in spawn.
