Always shove the lanes as far as you can, without getting killed.

This is helping me win a lot of games I didn't think were possible. Not only are you getting as much CS as you can. This makes it impossible for your opponent to get a tower down without a wave pushed. Of course, you want a champion that's good at split pushing.

There are some times, though, when you want to let the wave come to you and freeze it in the right spot. Say you're behind. Shoving into turret lets the enemy get free damage on you while also allowing them free cs - letting them push their lead even further. It also opens you up to jungle ganks. You'll get more cs by freezing it just outside your tower, where nobody can safely gank you but you also don't have to worry about missing it to the turret.

You don't really freeze the wave mid-late game lol

Obviously. I'm talking about early game, though. Lane phase.

It's a struggle in silver 5. Nobody catches huge waves crashing in, even mid. When an enemy keep splitpushing they wont even push em out. I figure if the splitpusher has to clear more than 1 wave to get to tower that gives us a little more time to react. I main supprt but I've found myself having to pick champs that can waveclear, helps so much.

A few days ago there was an extremely patient enemy Jax who would sit in a bush for like 5 min until he saw a fight break out then he would immediately bum rush top... BUT! I was maxing Q on Soraka, that saved the inhib turret, was able to ult my team who 4v4d and then I got a zzrot so I could group.

These guys all think it's aram. Even my ADCs will farm like 60-100 cs and then when they decide it's time to group that's all they do and they wont farm a side lane ever again unless we tell them to but I know why. These bronze and low silvers will fight immediately and blame anybody who wasnt perma-araming.

ARAM is like the sugar rush, Rift is a cup of tea. (it's not everyone's)

There's a level of patience involved with watching health, minding cooldowns and generally being aware of more than just one lane. Objective timers, the general presence regarding Herald/Baron, keeping on top of (denying) Dragons, all mucho importante-- but lemme tell you, I have a lot of ARAM under my belt and they're just as bad there.

It's a total lack of game sense. There's a lot of bashing, "gotta get that last kill" mentality I see where people are more apt to dive and die for a kill than to try and force their presence out of lane. And that's talking ARAM, where kills should have some level of benefit comparatively.

Honestly, it's not as if they magically turn into good players. I'd argue a lot of them are worse because dealing with potential five-man-focus all game seems to escape a lot of them.

Lol, I had to play an ARAM for my mission and everybody was like bots, there were some decent players but I got 41 kills as Ashe and I don't play AD champs at all, when I got my Soraka otp I hard carried lmao.

Yes, there are some alarming patterns. I get told Vlad and Mundo are OP by my ADC who refuses to build Mortal. Meanwhile, rest of the team's AP or tank. There's also the issue that everyone's a meta slave and ARAM is, possibly, as far removed from the meta as you get without being an RGM.

It's an attitude problem. It always has been and it always will be. Free to play games are just like that. I used to play the MMORPGs, and boy, telling fucking DPS not to run straight into enemies before the tank has is like pulling teeth. No shit you died? You're wearing a loincloth, a bikini and a thong under the cloth. At least this bikini-clad thong-warrior brought a shield, maybe you let her go first.

This is actually wrong. If you can freeze the wave outside your tower you can cs safely and deny the enemy safe cs. Freezing is definitely one of the best ways to create a lead

It didn't make it clear that this is after the laning phase is over and things start to become more, random. Often times, shoving minion waves is the best thing you can do instead of grouping at mid and do nothing but stand around waiting for someone to make a move.

General rule of thumb is after level 6, always shove.

this should be common knowledge if after the laning phase

I still see so many people farm atrociously in general or forego large minion waves in favour of chasing an enemy they won't catch. When a laner is above 7 cs a minute I find that significantly better than the average. I make sure to point out or ping large minion waves, or I'll cover lanes temporarily as support to get that juicy XP and gold that is going to waste Velkoz
